(continued from Pt 1, still 2 years before present)
Noro and his partner Gabumon landed with a thud on the ground.
"What just happened? I feel like I was violated..." Noro said.
"We're in the Digital World," replied Gabumon.
Noro got up to look at his surroundings. Many trees were all around him, and not much else.
"So, what now?" he asked. "Do you know where we are exactly, how to navigate this place?"
"Yes, the city is this way," Gabumon motioned and started walking. Noro followed him.
For a while neither of them said anything. Noro was curious to learn more about Gabumon, though, so he broke the silence. "So, Gabumon, do you live in the city?"
"Actually, I was sent to you shortly after I was created," he replied. "I--" he stopped short.
"What's wrong, Gabumon?" Noro asked. He looked in front of them to see a yellow lizard, showing it's teeth. It jumped towards them.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing, coming around here*?" said the lizard. "This is my territory, you'll have to go through me to go any further."
(*Heh, it's a line from a song I wrote called, "Can't Sway Me")
"Uh...Gabumon? What is this thing?"
"It's okay Noro, just stay back," Gabumon said.
"Pepper breath," said the lizard as he shot a burst of flames towards Noro.
"Watch out!" yelled Gabumon as he jumped onto Noro, knocking him out of the way.
"Whoa, thank you so much, Gabumon!"
"That's what I'm here for, Noro." Gabumon got up and faced the lizard. "I don't want to fight you, but I'm not going to allow you to hurt Noro."
"Oh yeah? We'll just see about that! Pepper Breath!"
"Blue Blaster!" said Gabumon as a stream of blue fire came out of his mouth, meeting the flame from the lizard. Gabumon charged. "Horn Attack!" he said as he dove into the lizards chest, knocking it over.
"Ow, that hurts! Why didja have to do that!? You'll pay!" the lizard yelled as he got back up.
"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon sent another blast at the lizard, completely engulfing him. The lizard then started disappating into the air.
Noro felt something in his pocket. He took out the digivice. "Hey, something's happening." He read the screen. It read, "Agumon, Rookie Level Dragon Digimon, 100%," along with many more lines of information.
"Are all the digimon here like this?" Noro asked.
"Oh my, no," said Gabumon. "Some just like to fight."
Noro walked closer to Gabumon. "Thanks again for saving me. I would have been roasted if it weren't for you." Noro crouched down a bit to be at Gabumon's level.
"It was nothing, after all, we're friends for life." he said. Noro held Gabumon for a brief moment. He heard Gabumon laughing quietly.
So, Noro and Gabumon continued on their way to the city, where the other digimon tamers lived. Desperate to start a new life, Noro joined Night Crow. Shortly after, Noro learned how to work his digivice and converted the Agumon's data into a new Agumon, who also worked with Noro and Gabumon. Noro spent two years living peacefully (with the exception of the occasional belligerent Digimon) in the Digital World, learning all he could about his new home. He lived quite happily in Darkmoon City with his two Digi-pals.
