Okay, this is also over on Digimon Spirit and I'm also going to post it here. Well, I have the first eight chapters written and here they are.... Digimon TerminalsA Digimon Fan Fiction by DescendantOfTheSun21 Authour’s NoteDigimon Terminals is set in an alternate Digital World, away from the ones of the previous seasons. The biggest characteristic that sets this world apart from the others is that this Digital World has been around for hundreds of thousands of years, possibly before even the human world (which never makes an appearance in this story) was created. Also, humans live in the Digital World with their digital partners (not like Pokémon, however). They have schools and such just like a human world. Five main characters work for a higher, unknown, benevolent, digital being. They patrol the terminals in their Digital World to help keep peace. Every area in the Digital World is called a “terminal.” Each terminal houses certain types of Digimon. For example, the Harpy Terminal is home to some flying and winged Digimon, but keep in mind, this does not mean all flying Digimon live there. If a terminal has a smaller subarea inside it, that area is called a Domain. The characters will be introduced as they appear in the story. Also, since I am really bad at describing things, whenever a new Digimon appears, although I will try my best at a plausible description, I will make the Digimon’s name a link to a picture of it. In this story, the Digital World this story takes place in has evolved to a state that digivices are obsolete. Instead, the humans with digital partners call up on their DigiSoul to create what is called a DigiOrb which is a small orb of light that appears in the user’s hand. With this, the partner can have their Digimon evolve, can use it to communicate with their Digimon and other partners, and can even use it to gather information on enemy Digimon in battle. Finally, I will go ahead and say this here: there will be two Digimon in this named Leormon and Liomon. They are pronounced “Lee-or-mahn” and “Lie-oh-mahn”, respectively. They are NOT to be confused with Leomon and not to be taken as misspellings of his name. Oh, yeah, also keep in mind that in Japanese culture, they place the surname, or “family name,” first and the given name last. I use this placement when using the character’s full names. Block One - “Leormon's Rescue” Chapter One – “Leormon is Kidnapped”
A dark mist filled the air of the abandoned castle. Deep in the dungeons of the elaborate mansion laid a bed. On this bed lied a human. In this human resided a soul. In this soul existed a shadow. A ghost-like Digimon floated around the bed, which was positioned in the center of the musky room. The only light that existed in the room was that of the Digimon’s eyes, which allowed him to see his master clearly.
The Digimon looked like a mammal…a mammoth, to be more exact. It was rather small with smoke in place of a body from the waist down. From that point up to its head, there was fur with its lower half and the ear-tips purple and its upper half brown. Its head consisted of two ears, two tusks that protruded from the corner of its mouth, two shining blue eyes, and a silver – almost metallic – nose with a yellow tribal marking drawn upon it.
“Please, Master,” the Digimon whispered, “please wake up. You have lain still for ages now. If you do not awaken soon, the prophecy will be fulfilled without you.”
As if the Digimon’s words were a spell, the human’s eyes shot open. In addition to the Digimon’s eyes, two red ovals now added light to the room. An almost evil smile slowly revealed itself across the human’s face. His head rolled to the side so his eyes met those of his digital partner.
“Master,” the Digimon whimpered, “you are awake.” It took a breath. “More importantly, you are alive.”
“Tapirmon,” the human addressed, “you know how my existence is. I sleep for one hundred years and awake only to die once more.”
The Digimon, now known to be called Tapirmon, responded, “Yes, Master, I do know that. It is just that if you would have slept one more day, you would have passed one hundred years and then would not have been able to awake.”
The human just snickered. “Yes, but I always awaken. The only time I will not awaken would be the last time I die…”
Tapirmon interrupted, “Which according to the prophecy could be any day now.”
The human sat up and with a little difficulty was able to will his limbs out of their state of dormancy. “There’s just one problem with that statement, Tapirmon.”
“And what would that be?”
His expression went from a crooked smile to a sudden look of seriousness as he replied, “I, Wakahisa Hiroshi-sama,* will never die.”
(*Adding “-sama” to your own name shows great arrogance.)
They both sat in silence. They did not even need to speak to each other. Each one knew what the other was thinking, an ability provided by their twin telepathy. One was male. He had short, spiked, flaming red hair with orange and yellow tips. His twin was female. She had long black hair with seemingly glowing aqua blue highlights. They both had grey eyes. They even dressed similarly. They wore black outfits complete with jacket, denim jeans, and shoes. The male’s shirt was red with the image of a sun engulfed in flames, but his sister’s shirt was blue with an image of a moon surrounded by water in the center of hers. They were sixteen years old, but acted and thought as if they were in their twenties.
The twins were always this way. They grew up with no friends other than each other. They were overjoyed when they were told that they were being recruited to serve in the DTP, an acronym for “Defenders of Terminal Peace.”
~~Flashback~~
“What exactly does the DTP do?” the girl shyly asked.
The tall man who sat behind the large wooden desk simply responded, “The Defenders of Terminal Peace follow the order of Fanglongmon, a high deity Digimon. We follow his orders and by his instruction, help protect the citizens of the Digital World from harm. If you were to join, Fanglongmon would bestow a powerful essence onto you and your Digimon.”
The small blue creature that sat next to the girl spoke up. “Would this essence give us the power to evolve?”
The man smiled. “Yes, Lunamon, it would.”
~~End of Flashback~~
The girl looked at her brother and thought, “He lied didn’t he?” Her brother picked up on the telepathic signal.
“Who lied?” he thought back.
“The recruiter,” she said. “He said that the Digi-Orb that Fanglongmon gave us would help our Digimon to evolve. They have yet to make it past champion level.”
“They will soon,” the brother said out loud. “It’ll just take time.” He put his hand on her shoulder. She looked very sad.
“I suppose.”
Suddenly, a tall boy about a year older than the twins came crashing into the very large control room. He was out of breath and was trying to put together a sentence, which he failed to do. The twins, another boy, and another girl ran towards him.
“Calm down, Takeshi,” the other boy said. He was fifteen years old, just at five feet tall, blonde hair that hung around his whole head, and had contacts that made his eyes look orange. He wore a white shirt with an orange sweater-vest over it. He had tan coloured pants and brown shoes.
The other girl was fifteen as well. Her hair was shoulder length (much shorter than the blue-haired twin’s which stretched down to her mid-back) and was brown with pink streaks throughout it. She wore a forest-green shirt and brown pants as well. All her clothes were nature-like.
The boy who burst in through the door, Takeshi, was over six feet tall with short black hair. He wore a camouflage shirt and matching pants with pockets all over the sides. “Saburou…Ayaka…Haruki…Yuzuki…” he addressed those around him in between breaths.
Lin Saburou was the half Japanese, half Chinese, fifteen year old blonde. Hayashi Ayaka was the girl in nature clothes. Minatoya Haruki and Minatoya Yuzuki were the twins; Haruki as the brother and Yuzuki as the sister.
Ayaka looked into Takeshi’s eyes. “What happened?” she asked.
Takeshi gulped and responded, “Leormon…was kidnapped…”
Leormon was the small, lion Digimon that belonged to Takeshi. He had golden fur that sported traces of electricity, red fur that stood up on his head, and a green amulet that hung from his neck.
All the children and their Digimon grouped together in the small lounge-like area in the control room of the DTP headquarters. Ayaka sat with her Digimon Aruraumon, a Digimon that was a darker form of Palmon. Saburou sat with his Digimon KoKabuterimon, who looked like the rookie form of Beetlemon. Haruki and Yuzuki sat with their Digimon, Coronamon and Lunamon, respectively.
Takeshi told them what had happened just a couple of hours before.
“We were walking through the Fog Terminal and then out of nowhere came this gust of black mist that passed right through Leormon. As the mist quickly dissipated, Leormon was nowhere to be found. I tried to use my DigiOrb to contact him, but I received no response,” Takeshi explained.
“What do you want us to do?” Coronamon stepped up and asked. Haruki gave Coronamon a look that meant, “What are you doing!?”
Takeshi responded, “I want each of you to go to your corresponding terminals. Haruki and Coronamon, go to the Flame Terminal; Yuzuki and Lunamon, go to the Aquan Terminal; Ayaka and Aruraumon, go to the Forest Terminal; Saburou and KoKabuterimon, go to the Harpy Terminal. I’ll stay here and try to contact Fanglongmon to see if he can give us any clue as to who stole Leormon.”
The teens nodded and set off with their Digimon.
Meanwhile, Hiroshi and Tapirmon were in the highest tower of their castle, Eternal Manor, in the terminal they had dominated, the Yami Terminal.
Hiroshi laughed menacingly as he looked at his victim trying to escape from the cage in which he was placed. “Try as you may, Leormon, you will never break free. I created this cage with my own two magical hands just for this capture.” He summoned his DigiOrb to his hand. It was a black orb with a small trace of white flowing through it. “Tapirmon,” he addressed. “Digital.......Eh-voh-loo-shun!” he screamed as he held the orb out, shooting a beam of black light at Tapirmon.
“Tapirmon, SHINKA!” the ghost Digimon cried out as he started to change form. He took on a humanoid shape. He contained silver and blue clothing, a grey conical hat, and a wand with a snowflake-shaped crystal-blue head. “Sorcerymon!” he exclaimed as he took form.
“Sorcerymon, you know what to do,” Hiroshi said. His DigiOrb started to expand and covered his entire body in a black mist that vanished along with him. Sorcerymon looked at Leormon.
“Please,” Leormon begged. “Don’t kill me! I beg of you!”
Sorcerymon merely laughed. “You call that begging?” he asked in a mocking tone. His face turned serious rather fast. Sorcerymon’s eyes narrowed showing an evil nature. “You can beg better than that… Aquarius Fill!” He held out his wand and caused water to gather at the base of the cage and started to very, very, very, slowly rise, filling the cage. Although the bars provided gaps in between them, the water did not flow out. The barrier Hiroshi had placed upon it kept the water inside. Tears started to form around Leormon’s eyes as he thought he would never see Takeshi ever again…

Digimon TerminalsBy DescedantOfTheSun21Block One - “Leormon's Rescue”Chapter Two “The Dark Acts of the Dark King”Saburou walked through the Harpy Terminal, home to many winged and insectoid Digimon, alongside his champion-level partner. KoKabuterimon’s next form was oddly shaped as a large flying sword with the handle has the head containing one red jewel that it used for an eye. As they progressed along the path, Saburou kept glancing over at his partner, known as BladeKuwagamon. The sword-shaped insect would catch his stare, and as a result, Saburou would turn his head as if he was not looking. “What’s wrong, Sabu?” BladeKuwagamon asked his partner, addressing him by his nickname. “Nothing, Kabu,” Saburou responded, calling his Digimon by his nickname which rhymed with Saburou’s own. “It’s just…” “Yeah?” They both stopped moving. “I,” Saburou started, creating tension in the air. “I look at your rookie form and then I look at your champion form, and I don’t understand.” “You don’t understand?” Kabu repeated. “What do you mean?” “I don’t get how you go from KoKabuterimon, a blue beetle, to,” he held his hands up, pointing them at Kabu, “BladeKuwagamon, a flying sword. It doesn’t make sense.” Although BladeKuwagamon could not give a stern look towards Saburou, he made up for it with the annoyed tone in his voice. “You mean that’s it? That’s why you kept looking over at me?” Saburou quietly said, “Yeah.” BladeKuwagamon rolled his eye and just replied, “Whatever. Let’s keep going.” And with that, the insect pair continued down their path calling out Leormon’s name.
Meanwhile, in the Forest Terminal, home to all kinds of vegetation Digimon, Ayaka and her champion-level Digimon roamed the woods. Ayaka searched under all the overturned logs and behind all the weeds and her cactus-shaped partner would use her amazing jumping ability to search high in the trees. “Do you see anything yet, Togemon?” Ayaka asked. The cactus Digimon with boxing gloves now known to be Togemon came cutting through the air and landed next to her partner. “No, I still don’t see any traces of him,” she said in a rather low voice. Ayaka sighed. “Will we ever find him?” she asked Togemon. Togemon smiled. “We have to find him, Ayaka.” “But will we?” Togemon frowned as she knew she could not give a definite answer.
In the Aquan Terminal, which housed most of the Digital World’s oceans, seas, and beaches, Yuzuki and Lunamon roamed the beach. There were many Crabmon and Scorpiomon roaming along the sand. “Lunamon,” Yuzuki addressed. Lunamon looked up at her. “Why aren’t there any people here?” “What do you mean?” “Well, this beach is usually populated with the humans and their Digimon but now, look,” Yuzuki answered as she held her finger out, scanning across the deserted beach. Lunamon was puzzled. “I don’t know.” They continued to walk down the sand. As they went, they both started to see small glimmers of something way down on the other side of the beach. “Yuzuki!” Lunamon screamed. “Look!” There were people down there. Yuzuki gasped. She and Lunamon ran as fast as they could down to the area. Sure enough, all the humans that would have been scattered all across the beach were gathered at one spot in a very large circle, all staring at hundreds of washed up Gizamon, sea mammal Digimon with spikes on their backs, and even Syakomon, which were small shelled Digimon that resembled clams. Tears started to form in Yuzuki’s and Lunamon’s eyes. “Who…would do…something…like this?” Yuzuki asked in between sobs. She felt Lunamon tug on her jacket and saw her point to a Gizamon that was in short distance from them. He was still alive…but barely. They walked over to and knelt down beside him. Yuzuki softly petted his head. “Who did this to you?” Yuzuki questioned. The Gizamon tried to answer. Between gasps of breath, he was able to say, “The most…evil…being in…the Digital…World… Wakahisa…Wakahisa…Wa…ka…hi–” and with that he, along with all of the dead Gizamon and Syakomon, obliterated into data. “NO!” Yuzuki screamed, tears flying off of her face. The data all went flying down into the ocean, where all of the watchers knew that it would reassemble into various digitamas. “Lunamon,” she very firmly said. “Yes?” “We’re going to go down into the Aquan Ocean. We’ll search all of the water.” “But, Yuzuki, that’s seven bodies of water, including the Shadocean, and that’s literally the ocean of evil!” “I don’t care,” Yuzuki said. “Water Digimon are like my family. I’m one of them. If someone hurts them, they’re hurting my family. I won’t stand for that.” Lunamon sighed. “You’re right. But we don’t have time to search all of the seas.” “I know…” Yuzuki agreed. She thought for a moment and said, “Here is what we will do. We’ll go underwater and search the Aquan Ocean since,” and at this part of her sentence, she pointed out to the ocean they were standing next to, “it’s right here. We’ll keep going until Takeshi pages us. Deal?” Lunamon smiled. “Deal.” Yuzuki smiled. The beach-goers who were listening to their conversation all took a step back when Yuzuki summoned her DigiOrb. In one swift motion, she screamed “Digital…Evolution!” and shot a beam of shining blue light at Lunamon. “Lunamon, SHINKA!” the moon Digimon cried out as she changed shape. Swirls of blue light surrounded her as she progressed through the evolution stage. The ribbon that rested on Lunamon’s chest changed into the ribbon that flowed from her champion level’s neck. Her ears stretched out she grew real legs other than the ones Lunamon had that were hidden. Black gloves appeared on her hands as she screamed out her new name, “ Lekismon!” Yuzuki, with her DigiOrb still in her hand, grabbed Lekismon’s hand. The DigiOrb shone brightly between their palms, and both Yuzuki and Lekismon gained a glowing blue aura around them. Yuzuki, having done this before, knew she could now breathe underwater as long as her DigiOrb connected her to her Digimon. They ran into the ocean and dove underwater on their journey to find Leormon and to find the one who harmed Yuzuki’s “family.”
Whoever said that twins do not always go through the same predicaments is in this case wrong. In the Flame Terminal, Haruki and Coronamon walked along the mountainous path with drop-offs on both sides. Fire shot up from the canyon and heated the entire area. Coronamon, obviously, could withstand the heat, and although Haruki was used to this fiery place, he was not all that comfortable. As they reached the end of the narrow path, they came upon a large flattened land at the base of a large volcano. He and Coronamon saw many humans with fire-type Digimon walking around. “This must be their village,” Haruki observed. A small Digimon that was pure fire floated up to Haruki and Coronamon. “Welcome to Moto Town!” the Digimon cheerfully greeted. “ DemiMeramon!” a boy around Haruki’s height and age yelled as he ran towards them. Once he reached the trio, he apologetically said to Haruki, “Sorry about that.” Then to his Digimon he said, “DemiMeramon, I told you stop pestering the visitors.” “Oh, he wasn’t bothering us,” Haruki shyly said. “He was just welcoming us to your village.” The boy nodded. “Oh,” he smiled. “Well, in any case, welcome! I’m Atsuki.” He held out his hand. “Nice to meet you.” Haruki shook his hand and responded in a quiet tone, “I’m Haruki.” The meet and greet was quickly cut short by a large explosion half-way up the volcano. The detonation was enough to shake the whole village, causing Haruki, Atsuki, and Coronamon to fall over. DemiMeramon giggled as he could float and therefore, didn’t fall over. Atsuki gave him a narrow glare and muttered, “Shut up.” Haruki looked up at the area of the blast, ready for a battle. He, as well as Yuzuki, may have been shy, but when something serious would happen, he was determined and ready to fight. “Coronamon!” He yelled as he stood up and summoned his DigiOrb. Coronamon grinned and nodded. “Digital…” Haruki screamed as his DigiOrb shot out a red and orange beam at the sun Digimon, “…Evolution!” “Coronamon, SHINKA!” he screamed as he begun the transformation. As he evolved, Saburou, BladeKuwagamon, Ayaka, Togemon, and Takeshi, all in their respective areas, were startled as they just then heard the blast. Coronamon took the form of a lion, somewhat. His tail grew out and contained fire at the tip. A mane of blonde fur grew out from his neck, his four legs grew out to contain massive paws, and two red wings sprouted out from his shoulders. “ Firamon!” he announced his new name. Atsuki and DemiMeramon looked astounded at Coronamon’s new form. Haruki jumped onto Firamon’s back, and as Firamon’s wings started to move, they flew off towards the volcano.
Back in the Musha Terminal, where Takeshi and the DTP headquarters were located, Takeshi was attempting to contact Fanglongmon, something he had been doing for hours. He sat in the small circular room with the altar in place in the center. He performed the ritual for what seemed the millionth time. He threw the ashes of the majestic Phoenixmon onto the altar, and finally something occurred. Smoke filled the room, and an animated image of a large dragon Digimon appeared in front of Takeshi. The room seemed to darken, only being lit by the aura surrounding Fanglongmon. Takeshi gasped. “Fanglongmon,” he muttered. He, already sitting on his knees, bowed down to show his respect. “Arakawa,” Fanglongmon said, addressing Takeshi by his surname. “What business do you have summoning me here today?” “Please, Sire,” Takeshi begged as he rose up, “what can you tell me about Leormon’s disappearance?” “That is all?” Fanglongmon inquired. “That is why you disturbed my matter? You summoned me only to ask about the capture of your Digimon?” Takeshi lowered his head and was about to mutter an affirmation, but then he quickly remembered the blast he just heard. His head shot up, and he blurted out, “Well, there was also an explosion nearby. I was afraid it would harm the others.” Fanglongmon gave him one of the stern looks that seemed to be going around. “Fine then,” he responded. “Leormon was captured by the most evil being here in the Digital World.” Takeshi’s jaw dropped in awe. His eyes widened as his heart sank. “I cannot tell you much, as you must figure some of this out on your own, but what I can tell you is that a very powerful evil has awakened. However, it is not your job to destroy him. It is your job to prevent the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy. It is your job to purify the darkness in his soul and bring him and his Digimon into the light.” “His Digimon? You mean he is human?” “Yes, he is human, but he has more power than you could ever imagine.” Fanglongmon started to fade, but Takeshi quickly yelled after him. “Wait! What about the explosion.” Fanglongmon, still fading away, very informally said, “Oh, he caused that, too,” and disappeared. The smoke vanished, and the room was bright again. Takeshi sighed. He rose with some difficulty as his legs were now asleep but managed to get into the control room.
Haruki and Firamon landed at the site of the explosion, already filled with bystanders. An injured Asuramon and two wounded Fugamon were lying in the middle of a black circle filled with ash and soot. Haruki walked over to him with Firamon behind him. “Oh my Goldramon,” Haruki muttered a saying very common in the Digital World. He knelt down next to Asuramon and asked him, “Can you tell me what happened? … Please?” Asuramon took in a breath. “We…were coming down…from the volcano…when a large…shadow ball…hit the volcano. We were right…in the middle of it…” Haruki shook his head in anger. “Do you know who sent the attack?” Asuramon sighed. “No…I’m sorry…I can’t remem–” and then he and the two Fugamon transformed into small orbs of data, which gathered and flowed back into the depths of the volcano, where they would be reborn. “Che,” Haruki swore as he stood up. He looked at Firamon. “We’ll never find Leormon.” “Leormon?” Atsuki, who had just reached the spot with DemiMeramon, asked. Haruki turned. “Yeah, do you know him?” “It might not be same Leormon you are referencing, but I saw one earlier today.” Haruki’s eyes expanded. “Really? Where?” “I saw a large Airdramon carrying a cage with one in it. They flew over the volcano, and I assume something fell into it because I saw lava splash from the top.” “You saw that from down there?” Haruki questioned, not believing the last part as he pointed down at the village. “No,” Atsuki responded, “I was up here on the volcano. I run up and down it every day… Anyways, I wouldn’t doubt it if the Airdramon dropped the cage into the volcano.” Haruki’s face turned to pure terror. “No!” He turned to Firamon. “We’ll have to go in.” “Are you crazy?” Atsuki yelled. “You’ll die!” Haruki smiled. “No, we won’t.” Just like Yuzuki did, Haruki summoned his DigiOrb as he mounted his Digimon. He placed the palm of his hand on Firamon’s back right in between the wings. A red aura surrounded them both. Haruki looked at Atsuki. “With this,” he said, “we can withstand anything.” Firamon flew up to the top of the volcano. He and Haruki saw that the magma was close to the top. Firamon dove right into the excruciatingly hot, plasma substance.
“Good,” Hiroshi said as he looked into the crystal ball on his table in his castle’s attic. “With him in the volcano,” he then looked at another crystal ball with a live image of Yuzuki and Lekismon, “and her in the ocean, they will never get their call to return to their base.” He looked over at Leormon and the cage in which he was placed. The water from Sorcerymon’s attack had filled at least one-fourth of it. “Why don’t you just go ahead and kill me now?” Leormon asked. “Why must you make me suffer?” Hiroshi laughed. “Because, foolish Rookie, if I just went ahead and killed you now, it wouldn’t be any fun for me!” His evil laugh filled the room and the entire castle, and Sorcerymon just looked at Hiroshi in disbelief. “Where did I go wrong with him?” he thought…

Digimon TerminalsBy DescendantOfTheSun21Block One - “Leormon's Rescue”Chapter Three “The Twins’ Discoveries”Saburou and Ayaka received the distress signal sent by Takeshi. With their DigiOrbs summoned, they digitized themselves and were transported back to the DTP headquarters. As they both appeared in the control room, Takeshi asked, “Where are the twins?” Saburou and Ayaka looked at each other and shrugged.
Yuzuki and Lekismon were on the ocean floor of the Aquan Ocean. As they kept their hands together, they crept through the water and the sand. Eventually, their path stopped at a large underwater canyon-like drop. What they saw amazed them…but not in a good way. The view was terrible. What looked like something that could have been a majestic underwater utopia was now completely destroyed. Large castles and other buildings had roofs missing, holes in the windows, doors completely bashed in, and walls that were crumbling even as the duo looked out upon it. Yuzuki was in total shock. Lekismon turned to look at her. “Yuzuki,” she started, “we don’t have to go any further. We can go back now,” she said in a comforting tone. “No,” Yuzuki responded. “I want to figure out who is responsible for this.” “That’s exactly my point!” Lekismon exclaimed. “Maybe Takeshi was able to contact Fanglongmon.” “If and when he does, he’ll contact us,” Yuzuki said. “Now, let’s go.” They jumped down from the platform they were on and slowly floated further down into the ocean. They landed on the sandy surface and progressed through the water towards the village. Yuzuki saw a statue in the main center of the destroyed town. It looked like a giant merman wielding a powerful trident. However, as all of the other structures in the area, the monument was missing pieces of his face. The trident’s tips were chipped off. One of the eyes was absent. “ Neptunmon,” Lekismon muttered. “What?” Yuzuki questioned. “This is supposed to be a monument to Neptunmon,” Lekismon repeated. “Who’s that?” “Neptunmon was the Digital God of the Seas. According to mythology, he was long ago destroyed by those whom he looked after. A mysterious curse was laid upon a large majority of the aquatic Digimon, which caused them to go berserk and attack him. It was said that AncientMermaimon, another godlike water Digimon, was the one that cursed them, but it was never proven. AncientMermaidmon seemed to just vanish once the Sovereigns received word that he was a suspect in the curse.” “How come?” “Well,” Lekismon said in a matter-of-fact voice, “placing a wide-spread curse like that, obviously, is a crime. If they could prove that AncientMermaimon was the one that performed it, Fanglongmon could have obliterated her and made it so she would never be reborn.” “That’s awful,” Yuzuki uttered. “That’s why they call it a crime,” Lekismon replied. “Look, Yuzuki, we really need to get back to headquarters before they start worrying about us.” “Yeah,” Yuzuki agreed, “you’re right.” Lekismon started to swim upwards in a rapid speed while hanging onto Yuzuki. As soon as they would reach the surface, Yuzuki could use her DigiOrb to send themselves back to base, where they would learn the true identity of who was responsible for not only the destruction of the underwater village, but also most of the troubles caused in the mythological times…
While Yuzuki and Lekismon were on their journey through the Aquan Ocean, Haruki and Firamon were on their own quest throughout the fiery environment provided by the Moto Volcano. As they reached the bottom of the volcano, they entered an area that resembled the inside of a machine. Gears were grinding, conveyer belts were spinning, engines were running, and a loud, roaring noise was being generated. “What is this place?” Haruki asked Firamon. “It seems as if,” the Digimon answered as they looked around, “these gears and such are what is making the volcano run.” Haruki had a look of sheer confusion on his face. “The volcano is really just a machine?” he asked. “This one is, apparently,” Firamon responded. “Well, whatever works is fine, I guess,” Haruki stated, not really caring what made the volcano work. “Do you see Leormon anywhere?” “Haruki,” Firamon said as they landed on a large rock that sat in the middle of the flowing magma. “If Leormon was really dropped down in here, the cage would have melted and he would have turned to data before he reached this area.” “Not necessarily,” Haruki retorted. He, being the marvelous thinker that he was, came to the conclusion of, “Well, whoever captured him must have wanted to ensure his safety so he could get the proper ransom or whatever he is after, right?” Firamon just nodded as he kept looking around the dome shaped walls. “If he wanted to do that, he would have made the cage impervious to such elemental forces as heat, ne?” “I suppose,” Firamon grunted, not liking where this was going. “Well, he would have made the cage resistant to heat because he knew his Airdramon would fly over the volcano and didn’t want to risk having Leormon incinerated by the lava. Therefore, Leormon would remain safe throughout his excursion into the base of the volcano, and as a result, we should be able to find him in this relatively small area.” Firamon let out a laugh as his gaze scanned the enormous space around them. “You call this small?” “Well, for a volcano, it is,” Haruki said. Firamon let out a sigh. Firamon took flight again with Haruki still maintaining the connection through his DigiOrb. After what the heat made seem like hours but was really only a matter of forty minutes or so, Haruki finally gave up on his ridiculous thought of Leormon’s survival. “Either Leormon did die coming through the volcano,” Firamon started. “Or,” Haruki finished, “Airdramon never dropped him into the lava.” “Or,” Firamon added, “like I was going to say, maybe Atsuki never really saw an Airdramon fly by.” “What do you mean?” Haruki asked. “Maybe he only imagined it…or maybe he lied,” Firamon answered. “Why would he lie?” Haruki questioned. “He didn’t know who we were; what would he have gained from it?” Firamon’s silence was a good enough answer for Haruki. “Let’s go back, Firamon,” he said. Firamon nodded and started to fly straight for the lava that was suspended in air near the top of the exit…slash entrance…
“Where are they!?” Takeshi screamed as he, along with Saburou, Ayaka, and their rookie level Digimon, waited in the control room. Takeshi let out a swear as he punched his hand against a wall…a metal wall…thus resulting in an even longer and more elaborate swear. As if they were together the whole time, two shining lights – one blue and one red – appeared next to each other as the twins and their Digimon materialized. Lekismon quickly degenerated to Lunamon as she shook the water from her body. Yuzuki tried to do the same, but she was stuck to the confines of her drenched black leather jacket and jeans. Saburou, unknowingly to him, started to gaze at the figure of the soaking woman in front of him. Ayaka turned to see him and quickly bashed him in the back of his head with her hand, giving him a scowl. Steam seemed to emanate from Haruki’s jacket as he quickly jumped down from Firamon, who in turn degenerated back to Coronamon. “Where the hell have you two been?” Takeshi yelled at them. Haruki’s spirit of adventure and Yuzuki’s spirit of determination both swiftly turned to spirits of shyness and shame as they, in unison, muttered, “What do you mean?” “What do I mean?” Takeshi calmly said. “WHAT DO I MEAN?” he repeated in a much louder voice. “I have been sending you distress signals for over two hours! Where were you?” “The Aquan Ocean/The Moto Volcano,” they replied at the same time. At this point, Saburou and Ayaka slowly stepped back with their Digimon and took seats, not wanting to contribute any more trouble to the situation. “And what business did you have going there?” Takeshi screamed again. The twins both started mumbling their excuses at the same time. “Hold on,” Takeshi stopped them. “I can’t understand you. Haruki, you first.” “Well, I thought maybe Leormon was in the bottom of the Moto Volcano.” Takeshi gave him a very scornful look. “What in the name of Chronomon gave you the idea that Leormon was in a volcano?” “Well,” Haruki started. “Never mind!” Takeshi screamed. “I don’t even want to hear it! Yuzuki, what’s your excuse? The Aquan Ocean, you said you were in?” “Yes,” Yuzuki mumbled. “And for Gallantmon’s sake, stop muttering! I can’t understand you!” “Sorry!” Yuzuki, now furious with the way her brother was treated, said in a much louder voice. Takeshi said, “You don’t have to be a female Dobermon about it.” Yuzuki continued in a normal voice anyway. “When I got to the beach, hundreds of Digimon were washed ashore and eventually died. Lunamon and I went into the ocean to try to find traces of who was responsible. This led us to a large underwater city that was completely destroyed, and I –” Takeshi held up his hand, stopping her. “I don’t even care,” he said. “The fact of the matter is I finally contacted Fanglongmon. He told me that a powerful evil that has been around since the creation of the world was awake again and causing all kinds of trouble. He is the one who contains Leormon – not some volcano,” he said, looking at Haruki. Saburou and Ayaka stepped forward to join the circle. “Where is he located?” Saburou asked. “From what I gather,” Takeshi responded, in a far nicer tone than the one he used with the twins, “he is in the Yami Terminal… More specifically, he’s in the Dark Palace.” “Isn’t that the largest castle in the whole Digital World?” Aruraumon, who had been quiet the entire time, asked. “Yes,” KoKabuterimon responded. Takeshi gave him a look that meant “I was going to answer that.” “Well then, let’s go,” Haruki said, totally ignoring the way Takeshi had just previously treated him. Yuzuki looked at her brother with disbelief. “Are you kidding?” she thought. Haruki looked over at her, picking up on the message. “Well, why not? I want to save Leormon,” he telepathically replied. “But Takeshi just treated us both like Nume-sludge,” she thought. “How can you just forgive him this quickly?” “I never said I forgave him; I just want to fight – it’s how I get my anger out, you know that… At least you should: it’s how you relieve your anger as well,” he silently responded. “What’s going on?” Ayaka asked, as all she knew, the twins were only looking at each other expanding their eyes every few seconds. They both turned to face her. “Uh, nothing,” Yuzuki muttered. The other members of the DTP did not know about the twins’ telepathy with each other, and the twins wanted to keep it that way. After a few more unimportant words were exchanged and the twins’ clothes were normalized, the group gathered in one circle, with the Digimon in the middle. Each Defender put out their right arm, making a stack of hands in the center. All at once, they summoned their DigiOrbs which called upon a large column of light to surround all nine of them. They were all digitized and slowly vanished. They were now finally on their way to save Leormon, to unveil the ultimate evil, and to infiltrate the Dark Palace. The only question was – Would they succeed…or die trying?

Digimon Terminals By DescendantOfTheSun21 Block One - “Leormon's Rescue” Chapter Four “Infiltration of the Dark Palace – Part One”
The five humans along with the four Digimon looked up the giant castle walls. Each of the defenders’ faces showed differing expressions. Takeshi had a look of determination. Haruki contained the look of bravery. Yuzuki held a look of anger. Saburou’s face showed curiosity, and Ayaka’s face showed fear. Their Digimon showed similar feelings, but they trekked forward anyways. They approached the large steel doors that seemed to – although an exaggeration – stretch into the clouds.
“So… Do we knock?” Yuzuki sarcastically asked. Takeshi just rolled his eyes. “What?”
Saburou noticed something the others did not. “Look!” he exclaimed. There was a small screen on the left side of the door that was about eye-level with the Digimon. Saburou leaned down and read the scratched text that was engraved around the edges.
“What does it say?” Aruraumon asked.
“Basically,” Saburou answered, “it says that only a dark-type Digimon can open the castle doors with the scan of its hand.”
“Great,” Takeshi muttered. “How in the Harpy Terminal are we going to get a dark Digimon to cooperate with us?”
“Well,” Yuzuki started, glancing first at Takeshi and then at Lunamon, “we already do.” Takeshi’s look of confusion responded for him. “Lunamon is a dark Digimon.”
“I thought she was aquan,” the leader responded.
“Nope,” Lunamon answered. “Technically, I’m a digital representation of the moon. The moon signifies darkness. Similarly, Coronamon is a holy-type Digimon.”
Takeshi inquired, “So even though you’re not evil, you can still get us in just because of your type?”
Lunamon nodded. In addition, she walked over to Saburou and, after he moved out of the way, she placed her left palm onto the screen. It shone briefly and then the doors’ hinges started to creak. The monstrous entrance slowly opened, and it was not quiet in doing so. The defenders crept into the atrium. As slow as the doors had opened was as quickly as they slammed shut, emitting a sound that seemed to shake the entire area. As they looked around, they noticed they were in a large, dome-shaped area. The windows were of the Gothic-style, allowing only enough light to allow the citizens occupying the foyer to see what was around them. Five large stone pillars were placed in a star-shaped pattern with a single circle connecting them. The pillars stretched up as far as the eye could see.
“Welcome,” they heard an eerie voice announce. “So I suppose you are here to rescue your pathetic companion.”
“So what if we are?” Takeshi yelled.
The voice chuckled. “Well, I shall be more than obliging to hand him over if you can find him…before his end comes.”
“What do you mean?” Takeshi asked in the loud voice once more. “Don’t you dare hurt Leormon!”
“Oh no,” the voice responded. “The destruction of that Digimon is not my job. That privilege belongs to Sorcerymon.”
At that time, Sorcerymon appeared in a shining blue and silver light in front of the defenders. The allied Digimon struck their fighting pose.
“Corona Flame!” Coronamon screamed as he shot a fireball from the glowing circle in his forehead.
“Tear Shoot!” Lunamon joined in as she shot a sphere of water from her antennae.
Sorcerymon chuckled and, with his wand, easily deflected both attacks to their respective owners. The twins’ Digimon were blasted back, colliding with their owners and collapsing onto the floor. Saburou and Ayaka scowled. At the same time, they called upon their DigiOrbs.
“Kabu!/Aru!” they shouted in sync. They faced their Orbs towards their digital partners. “Digital…Evolution!” they announced.
“KoKabuterimon, SHINKA!”
“Aruraumon, SHINKA!”
Both forest Digimon altered their shapes. Kabu morphed into the giant, flying sword and announced his name, “BladeKuwagamon!” Aruraumon grew into the tall, boxing cactus and yelled, “Togemon!”
“Wow,” Sorcerymon said with extreme sarcasm. “You evolved. I’m so scared.”
“You should be!” Togemon yelled. “Needle Spray!” she shouted as she spun rapidly around and shot needles from her body towards Sorcerymon. A silver aura appeared around him as they were deflected off. Sorcerymon yawned to express his boredom from the, what he considered, easy battle.
“Air Knife!” BladeKuwagamon screamed as he pointed his blade towards Sorcerymon. A swirl of wind transferred from the sword’s tip created a vacuum that attacked the wizard. Just as the mysterious aura repelled Togemon’s attack, it was able to dissipate BladeKuwagamon’s as well.
“Work together!” Saburou and Ayaka just happened to coach at the same time. They turned to face each other and smiled at the coincidence. Togemon grabbed BladeKuwagamon’s “head” and wielded him like a sword.
“Spark Blade!” they both yelled. BladeKuwagamon’s tips on the sides of the blade started to glow. Togemon jumped into the air and came slicing down not only through the air but also through Sorcerymon’s protective shield. The blade made contact with the magician’s head. As it did, however, Sorcerymon completely vanished, leaving only his clothes and hat to fall to the ground.
“d**n it,” BladeKuwagamon muttered as he and Togemon walked back to their masters.
“It’s okay, Kabu,” Saburou consoled. “You both did great.”
Haruki’s eyes followed the large, dark grey pillars. “It’s going to be ‘fun’ getting up there,” he said, putting cynical emphasis on the word “fun.” He then looked at Coronamon. “Do you have the energy?”
Coronamon smiled, understanding what his owner was meaning, and replied with, “Of course!” With a quick arm motion and word utterance from Haruki, Coronamon evolved into Firamon. Yuzuki followed suit and had Lunamon evolve to Lekismon as well. Haruki mounted Firamon. He held his hand out to Takeshi and helped him onto the winged-Digimon’s back. Togemon retracted her needles into her body, grabbed Ayaka, and held her tight. Lekismon hugged Yuzuki and kept her close. Saburou grabbed the “handle” of BladeKuwagamon. Firamon flew up into the air and headed for the top of the castle. Togemon used her supreme jumping abilities to leap very high into the air and then to jump from pillar to pillar to advance further. Lekismon, with Yuzuki embraced, summoned a column of water for her to rapidly travel through to get to the destination already chosen by the others. BladeKuwagamon, with some difficulty, was able to effectively levitate up through the area with Saburou hanging below.
Eventually, they all reached their targeted location. They landed in a small hallway that led to only one door…the final door…the door that led to the room…the final room…the room that contained Leormon…and the thought-to-be-injured Sorcerymon…and the owner of the disembodied voice. They advanced through the hallway and finally reached the end. Takeshi put his hand on the handle of the door, turned the knob, and opened it. Words could not describe the look of shock that found its way onto Takeshi’s face when he saw the scene that awaited them all…

Digimon TerminalsBy DescendantOfTheSun21Block One - “Leormon's Rescue”Chapter Five “The Story of Wakahisa Hiroshi”Hundreds of thousands of years ago when the Digital World was created, there was Fanglongmon, who controlled all things good and holy. As a reciprocal, there had to be a great force of evil to keep the balance. This force of evil was originally destined to be in Digimon form, just like Fanglongmon. However, when the shadow produced by the core of the Digital World was released, it was accidentally absorbed in the vessel of an infant, and infant that would one day grow up to be Wakahisa Hiroshi. As Hiroshi lived on, the darkness spread throughout his body. He eventually became so engulfed in shadows that he could not see the light in anything. When he was seven years old (during the Digital World’s eighth year of existence), the darkness gave him the supreme power of intellect. With this newfound intelligence, he was able to extract a small part of the darkness into another form…the form of a digitama. When the egg hatched, it produced a rookie-level Digimon named Tapirmon. When Hiroshi turned sixteen, Tapirmon evolved to Sorcerymon for the first time. They were in battle against one of Fanglongmon’s apprentices, Piddomon, an angel Digimon similar to Angemon. It was at this time that Fanglongmon and the four sovereigns, Azulongmon, Ebonwumon, Baihumon, and Zhuqiaomon, placed the curse upon Hiroshi. This curse made it so that the ultimate evil would fall into slumber for one hundred years, only to rise for one year and then fall once more. It also inadvertently forced Hiroshi to retain the look of the age of sixteen, which helped him in some scenarios. “It’s because of your arrogance!” Tapirmon had once screamed at him in one of his existences. “What do you mean, my arrogance?” Hiroshi retorted. “Why else do you think I have yet to evolve to my ultimate level?” Tapirmon scolded. “It’s because you stopped believing in me!” “I stopped?” Hiroshi repeated. “You were the one that stopped trying!” “I tried every d**n day to please you! You never once praised me one bit!” “I never praised you?” Tapirmon became even angrier. “I’m getting tired of you repeating everything I say.” “Well, it’s just because I don’t believe any of it. You won’t evolve because you don’t want to.” “That’s absurd! Of course I want to evolve.” “Prove it,” Hiroshi said. “If you want to evolve, then evolve… don’t whine to me about your incompetence.” And with that last statement, Hiroshi had fallen asleep as his one year of liveliness had ended. Tapirmon would never forget that Hiroshi had called him incompetent. A few hundred years later in another of Hiroshi’s awakenings, he and Tapirmon had gotten into yet another argument over the lack of evolution that had taken place. Tapirmon in his champion level was able to defeat and destroy an ultimate level Digimon named Etemon but with some difficulty. “If you had an ultimate stage,” Hiroshi said, “that battle would not have taken as long.” “Well, maybe if you would believe in your partner, your DigiOrb would have allowed me to evolve!” Sorcerymon exclaimed. Hiroshi was furious. He reached his hand back and smacked Sorcerymon across the face. “Don’t you ever talk to me like that!” he roared. The latest conversation that took place over Tapirmon’s evolutionary line occurred merely moments before Hiroshi had awakened this last time. As the ghost Digimon looked at his sleeping master, he thought to himself, “Why don’t you believe in me?” He paused. “It does not even matter now. The prophecy says that during your last life, I will reach my greatest potential. What you lack to understand is that this is going to be your last life…and mine as well. I’m afraid to evolve. When I do, I could die. That would leave you unprotected. But if you do not awake, I will continue with my destiny and eventually evolve…with or without you. I need you. Please, Master, please wake up. You have lain still for ages now. If you do not awaken soon, the prophecy will be fulfilled without you.” And at that moment is when Hiroshi awoke. The prophecy did indeed say that during his last life is when his Digimon would evolve greater. Hiroshi thought he knew all about the prophecy. He knew about Tapirmon evolving. He knew during his last life, there would be a majestic battle between good and evil that would decide the fate of the world. He knew that there would be five forces of good unknown to him that would try to destroy him. What he feared was that those five would succeed. But what the prophecy lacked to foretell and what Hiroshi lacked to infer was that those five would not succeed. However, Hiroshi’s fate would not be changed. When he awoke, he did indeed enter his last life. But it would not be ended by the Defenders. His inner evil, the darkening shadow he had clung to, listened to, and believed in with all of his black heart, would act against him.

Digimon TerminalsBy DescendantOfTheSun21Block One - “Leormon's Rescue”Chapter Six “Infiltration of the Dark Palace – Part Two”“They are on their way, Master,” Sorcerymon told Hiroshi as he appeared in the room. “Good,” Hiroshi uttered as his evil smile was still plastered across his face. “Increase the rate at which the water flows.” Sorcerymon gulped as his pointed his wand at Leormon’s cage. The crystals at the end of the wand glowed as the water, which had filled over half the cage, started to increase. There were voices heard from the hallway. Sorcerymon turned to look. The doorknob was turned, and the door was slung open. Takeshi looked around the room. He was speechless. He could not believe what he saw. Cages and cages of captured and tortured Digimon…everywhere. Some Digimon were lying almost dead on the floor. Blood splattered all over the floor and walls. What made him almost faint was when he saw his very best friend trapped in aquatic torture. “Leormon!” Takeshi screamed as he tried to run towards the cage. Hiroshi, who had his back to them the whole time, quickly spun around, his black cape-like coat flaring out behind him, and held up his hand, somehow stopping Takeshi in his tracks. Hiroshi raised his hand, and Takeshi began to float upwards into the air. Leormon tried to yelp but the water had already filled the entire cage, and he did not want to risk drowning…although he knew it was inevitable. The Defenders’ Digimon stepped forward as they all filed into the room. The champions ran towards Sorcerymon. The wizard merely laughed as they were all blasted back by an invisible shield of protection. “Let him go!” Firamon shouted. He launched a ball of fire from his mouth at the hidden wall that concealed Sorcerymon. The attack merely dissipated when it reached the force-field. Lekismon stepped forward. “You don’t really want to do this, Sorcerymon.” Sorcerymon laughed. “Oh no? And what makes you say that?” “Because if you, and I mean you, not him,” she pointed at Hiroshi, “wanted Leormon dead, you would have destroyed him by now.” “I only did what my master asked of me. He is the one that did not want Leormon to die so quickly. He wanted to lure you all here to your demise, and it worked.” “We’ll see about that,” Yuzuki and Haruki said in unison. “Firamon/Lekismon!” they screamed. “ATTACK!” The twins’ Digimon launched attack after attack at Sorcerymon, all of which failed. Saburou looked over at Ayaka. He motioned towards Hiroshi. She nodded. Their Digimon got the message. “Togemon Jab!” Togemon screamed as she landed a successful punch on Hiroshi’s chest, knocking him back onto a table, breaking it. This cancelled the control Hiroshi had over Takeshi and the floating Defender fell to the ground. “Air Knife!” BladeKuwagamon announced as he shot a blast of wind at Hiroshi, shoving him back on the floor. Takeshi got up as Togemon, BladeKuwagamon, and their partners ran to fight off the damaged human. Takeshi ran towards Sorcerymon, and the sun and moon Digimon stopped their advances. Takeshi let out a battle cry and, with his DigiOrb, connected his fist with the shield in a triumphant punch, breaking the shield and sending Sorcerymon back into the cage. The cage fell over and broke open, allowing the suffocating Leormon to gasp for air. The lion ran towards his partner. “Takeshi!” he screamed with joy as he jumped up into his owner’s arms. “Leormon!” he exclaimed. “I’m so glad you’re okay. I’m sorry for taking so long.” Leormon smiled. “It’s okay! Let’s just get rid of them.” Takeshi smiled. He let go of Leormon and summoned his DigiOrb. “Digital…Eh-voh-loo-shun!” he enunciated as a beam of yellow and brown light shot out at Leormon. “Leormon, SHINKA!” he screamed. He grew into a larger version of himself with a larger mane, two tails, and silver hoops that stuck out from his ears. “ Liomon!” he screamed as he took on his new form. “Thunder of the Kings!” he shouted as he shot electricity from his mane. The lightning hit Sorcerymon and electrocuted him. This forced him to degenerate back to Tapirmon. “Hi…Hiro…Hiroshi-kun,” Tapirmon mumbled as he fell to the floor. “Tapirmon!” Hiroshi screamed as he vanished from his spot only to reappear next to Tapirmon and then vanish once more with him. The Defenders were left standing there, staring in awe at their surroundings. “What did Tapirmon mumble?” Haruki asked. “I think he said ‘Hiroshi-kun,’” Saburou responded. “I wonder if that was his name.” “It was,” a caged and injured Gatomon said. “His name is Wakahisa Hiroshi,” she answered. “And he is the most evil being in the Digital World.” “You are Gatomon, ne?” Ayaka asked as she knelt down to the small cat Digimon. Gatomon nodded. “Hiroshi captured me to try to convert me into a BlackGatomon.” “Why?” Yuzuki asked. “He thought if he had a LadyDevimon on his side that he might be able to defeat you, but the Light within me would not let him,” Gatomon explained. “Quick!” she exclaimed as she stood up. “The castle is going to collapse now with Hiroshi’s leave. You must rescue us!” Takeshi looked horrified. “Collapse!? How are we going to be able to help?” Ayaka hit him in the back of the head. “Stupid, we’re going to transport them to headquarters.” Takeshi just muttered, “Oh.” They quickly ran around the room unlocking all the cages and getting the surviving Digimon that were not spontaneously bursting into data all in one area. The five humans formed a pentagram around the Digimon and summoned their DigiOrbs. Five beams of light appeared and connected with each other, forming a star. A second beam of light swooped around in a circle motion and as it hit each human, that person and the Digimon directly in front of him or her vanished. Shortly thereafter, they all arrived back at the DTP base in the Musha Terminal. Takeshi ran to one of the many monitors in the room, and after a few key presses, the image of Hiroshi’s castle appeared. They all watched as it fell to pieces and crumbled, leaving nothing in one piece. “So,” Tapirmon asked his master as they appeared in a dark area with no light whatsoever. “Where are we now?” Hiroshi laughed in the shadows. “Let’s just say that we’re closer to them than they think…”

Digimon TerminalsBy DescendantOfTheSun21Block Two - “Evil See, Evil Do” Chapter Seven “Foreshadowing”“So,” Tapirmon whispered to his master, “should we attack now while they are vulnerable?” Hiroshi sent a silent glare that seemed to cut through the darkness and literally attack Tapirmon. “Please tell me that you did not just say that.” “Well, why not?” the Digimon defended himself. “Their demise is what you want, is it not?” “Yes,” Hiroshi answered. “However, that does not mean that I will attack repeatedly. That is just absurd and will not get anything accomplished. And besides, what is with your eagerness to attack? I thought you truly wanted to have peace.” Tapirmon floated over to his master. “What I truly want is to please you. I only wish to follow your commands and do as you wish.” “Well in that case, you will wait.” “Yes, Master.” A week had passed since the Defenders’ rescue of Leormon. Little activity required their attention, which made them worry that Hiroshi was planning another diabolical scheme to steal yet another of their Digimon. Takeshi and Leormon were in the uppermost room, the control room, in the tall, tower-like building which they called headquarters… and home. Takeshi was sitting behind his large desk and keeping an eye on the monitors, not really looking for anything in particular. Leormon walked over to him and jumped up into his lap and then from there onto the flat surface of the desk, above the computer monitor that Takeshi called his own. “Don’t you think we could use some help around here, Takeshi?” Leormon asked. Takeshi nodded as Leormon curled around and lied down. “Yeah, I agree.” Takeshi reached for the keyboard to send a message to one of the Defenders. Leormon saw what he was doing, laughed a little, and then said, “No, that wasn’t what I meant.” Takeshi stopped. “Oh?” he inquired. “What did you have in mind?” “Well,” Leormon started, “I heard of some Digimon who were in need of work. Some wanted to help provide for their tamer’s family. Others just wanted to have a sense of purpose. Anyways, I was thinking that we could hire a Digimon or two to help with office ‘stuff’ while we are out on assignment or too overburdened with work.” Takeshi nodded again. “That is actually a great idea, Leormon.” Leormon gave him a somewhat offended look. “What?” “You make it sound like I never have any good ideas,” Leormon said. Takeshi gave him a playful eye-roll in return. “You know what I mean.” Leormon just smiled. “I’ll contact the others for a meeting. We’ll have to discuss this as a group to pass it.” Takeshi returned to his keyboard and started to send the messages. At that time, however, Yuzuki and Lunamon were at the northernmost area of the Aquan Terminal. They stood on the sandy, beach-like area and stared at the ocean that brushed up against it. It was not the Aquan Ocean, however. No, that part of the water that connected with the northern part of the terminal was the Shadocean, the body of water that connected with the Yami Terminal. The Shadocean was infamous for all of the evil, virus-ridden Digimon that inhabited it. That reason alone was why almost no one ever came near that part of the Aquan Terminal. Yuzuki and her Digimon were sitting on the sand as they saw a large WaruSeadramon come breaking through the surface of the water, crashing back down, and repeating the process until its body was the form of three semicircles sticking out of the water. “What Digimon is that, Lunamon?” Yuzuki asked. “It’s WaruSeadramon,” Lunamon responded. “He is a virus version of the Ultimate form of Seadramon.” “Virus,” Yuzuki repeated. “Why do they even exist, Lunamon?” “With Good comes Evil, Yuzuki. You know that better than anyone.” “Yeah,” Yuzuki muttered. She did know that better than anyone…so did Haruki. When they were only seven, their parents were brutally murdered by four evil Digimon that called themselves the Dark Masters. One year later at the age of eight, something miraculous happened. The twins stumbled upon two shining crystals. With their rookie-level Digimon who had never evolved to champion level yet, they examined the crystals, holding them up to the sunlight, waiting until nighttime to hold them up to the moonlight, rubbing them in their palms. Then, their worst fear at the time occurred. The four Dark Masters came crashing out of the Shadocean at the very beach Yuzuki was sitting on. The four aimed their attacks at the twins’ Digimon. “No!” the Minatoyas screamed as they jumped in front of their Digimon. The attacks hit them dead-on, but they did no damage. As they opened their eyes and the smoke cleared, they saw a silver-coloured bubble around them, emitted from the crystals. Their eyes opened even wider as the crystals glowed alongside their Digimon. The scene around them changed from a beach to a mystical realm of shining light. The chosen Digimon levitated into the air. “Coronamon/Lunamon!” the Digimon screamed their names. “CRYSTAL SHINKA!” they announced as they shone red and blue, respectively and took on new forms, forms of mega level Digimon. They could not see much as the light was blinding, but Haruki was able to see Coronamon become a large human-shaped Digimon with fire around his large fists. Yuzuki was able to make out Lunamon’s new form to be a woman with blue hair and a sword with a large blade. They acted quickly to destroy the four evils. The next thing the twins knew, the light died and their rookies appeared out of the battle as the surroundings changed back into its original state. Yuzuki looked at Lunamon as they sat on the beach. “Do you ever think you will become her again?” Lunamon smiled. “Actually,” she said optimistically, “yeah. I really do.” Yuzuki smiled as Lunamon cuddled with her as they breathed in the ocean air and continued to look out into the horizon. She still missed her parents dearly, but she knew that as long as she was with Lunamon, everything would be okay… “What is your plan, Master?” Tapirmon asked Hiroshi. They were still in the darkened area. The moon shone through the windows that night, allowing just enough light for Tapirmon to see Hiroshi at a desk in the middle of a completely empty room writing on a piece of parchment. “Simple,” Hiroshi said. “I believe that if we were to be the cause of one of the chosen Digimon’s evolutions, then you will be able to evolve in response.” “Interesting theory,” Tapirmon said. “How are you going to get them to evolve?” “I’m going to resurrect a few Digimon that I worked with in a past life,” Hiroshi responded. “Let’s see if this works…” Hiroshi stood up and, in a flash of red light, disappeared. Tapirmon, out of curiosity, floated over to look at what was on the parchment. He saw images of Digimon. There was one in each corner of the page and then one in the center. Tapirmon gasped, and his jaw dropped at the images on the paper. He mumbled the names of the Digimon to himself as he seen them. “ Machinedramon… MetalSeadramon… Puppetmon… Piedmon…” and then he looked at the center image. He thought it would be Apocolymon, which was the Digimon that created the former four, but he was surprised when it was different. It was, to his knowledge, one of the seven Demon Lords. He knew it was not Daemon, the supposed leader of the demons, and he was certain it was not Belphemon or Lilithmon, mostly because the latter was female and the image on the page was definitely male. That left only four others that it could be. To Tapirmon, it did not matter who it was. The fact remained the same: Hiroshi was going to contact a Demon Lord and bring back the four Dark Masters…

Digimon TerminalsBy DescendantOfTheSun21Block Two - "Evil See, Evil Do" Chapter Eight “As One Side Hires, So Does the Other”In the creation of the Digital World, there were four Digimon that were born to help control the balance. All of the Digimon were born as Tapirmon. Each had their own personality and colour. The first Tapirmon that hatched from the single digitama was normal in that he had the original purple colour scheme. The second was orange instead of purple. The third had red and blue markings, and lastly, the fourth and only female was dark red. Even though each Tapirmon had his or her own identity and skin tone, they were better known as their champion forms. The purple Tapirmon was given to the ultimate evil, Hiroshi, and evolved into Sorcerymon. The orange Tapirmon was given to the ultimate good, Fanglongmon, and evolved into Wizardmon. The younger two refused to join a side, neither good nor evil. The red and blue Tapirmon fled to the Flame Terminal and from there evolved into FlaWizardmon. Finally, the dark red Tapirmon hid herself in the Forest Terminal and evolved into Witchmon. Even though FlaWizardmon and Witchmon were very similar in terms of individuality, they were extremely different in how they obtained such individuality. FlaWizardmon decided to reside in the seclusion of the Moto Volcano. He chose to do whatever it would take to get what he wanted, but he refused to let harm come to anyone in the process. Witchmon, on the other hand, did not care for the safety of others. She would set her mind on what she wanted and would do whatever it took to get it, not concerned about the well being of those who crossed her path. Some do say that FlaWizardmon subconsciously joined Wizardmon on the side of good while Witchmon joined Sorcerymon on the side of evil. This, however, could not yet be fully proven. Wizardmon served Fanglongmon just as his older brother served Hiroshi. Wizardmon devoted his entire life to Fanglongmon and to the protection of the Digital World’s citizens. Around the world’s 500th year of existence, Wizardmon had to make a choice…one that he would regret for the rest of his life. Fanglongmon’s castle in the Musha Terminal was under attack from Hiroshi’s army of undead Digimon. Herds of Devidramon were attacking the walls of the castle. Wizardmon evolved to his ultimate form for the first time to help fight them off. At that time, Sorcerymon placed a curse upon Wizardmon. This curse acted as a poison that would weaken Wizardmon’s power the longer he stayed in close proximity with Fanglongmon. Wizardmon’s choice was whether or not he would honour his commitment to his deity and sacrifice his life due to the curse or flee from him to save his own life. Wizardmon’s everlasting regret clearly shows the decision that he had to make. Fanglongmon was furious that his apprentice who swore to put the angel’s life before his own would betray him. Fanglongmon decided that there was no longer a reason to keep fighting and flew out of the castle, leaving it to be demolished by Hiroshi’s troops. Hiroshi was confident that he had won but only because he did not see Fanglongmon fly to the clouds to live the rest of his eternal existence in solitude. Legend tells that the castle was reconstructed by volunteers who hoped that the reconfiguration would bring Fanglongmon back; however, he never returned. The building did not go to waste, though. It became the station for the Defenders of Terminal Peace. Wizardmon wanted Fanglongmon’s forgiveness, and he was ready to do whatever it took to gain it.
It seemed as if the day had literally slowed down during the interviews that took place in headquarters. The Defenders were talking to at least five Digimon every fifteen minutes to try to find a suitable assistant but were having no luck…that is, until they were about to give up hope. “Hello,” the Digimon greeted as he took his spot in front of a circular table that set in front of the curved couch on which the human Defenders sat. The Digimon was human-shaped. He wore a red robe around his body and a yellow robe around his head that extended down like a cape. He held a book in his left hand, and two small orbs, one red and one yellow, were in constant orbit around his right hand, which rested by his side. “My name is Wisemon. I’m here to fill the role of Defending assistant.” “Well, hello, Wisemon,” Takeshi returned the salutation. “First, please tell us why you think you deserve to be hired?” Although only his eyes were visible to the Defenders, Wisemon smiled. “Simple: Not only am I the most qualified for the job, I also have a destiny of serving good. I have taken it on as my job to keep the world in perpetual peace, which this organization does perfectly. I have knowledge of all things in the Digital World, not only in my book but also in my brain. I am an ultimate-level Digimon with powers unmatched by others. I have never lost a battle and never intend on doing so. Hiring me to help the Defenders of Terminal Peace will be one of the best things you have ever done, Arakawa-kun, and is an act that you will never regret,” Wisemon finished his monologue. Takeshi smiled, acknowledging the respectful suffix that Wisemon attached to his name. He knew that there were other applicants that they had to see first, but something in his mind just told him that Wisemon was the one. A somewhat familiar voice rang in his head. Takeshi nodded. “Congratulations, Wisemon,” he said. “You have the job.” The other Defenders looked over at him. They were giving him looks of anger because they should have discussed it first, but they quickly turned to looks of praise when they too heard the comforting voice telling them that it was meant to be. Wisemon said cheerfully but seriously, “When can I start?” The Defenders just grinned.
“He arrived, Master,” Tapirmon told Hiroshi. “Yes, I am aware,” he responded. “It’s un-telling what he has accumulated in that book of his. It probably contains all kinds of information about us.” “Aren’t you being just a tad bit paranoid?” Tapirmon asked. “Of course not!” Hiroshi beamed back. He walked from the window he was looking out over to Tapirmon. “Honto?”* Tapirmon smirked. “And what would you call staring out the window every three seconds to see if there are any incoming threats?” Hiroshi started to speak, but Tapirmon quickly added, “Besides ‘cautious’?” Hiroshi then closed his mouth. After a second or two, he responded, “Fine, I am a bit paranoid – but not about your brother. I’m paranoid about keeping alive. As you have reminded me many times, this is my last life. I cannot be careless. If I’m killed off before my goal is complete, my entire existence will have been for naught.” “Wakarimasu,”* Tapirmon said soothingly. “So,” he said, “are we going to hire any extra help as well?” “We need help?” Hiroshi asked. “With what?” “Nothing in particular,” Tapirmon said. “It would just be nice to have some extra hands around here.” “And who do you know that would willingly help us, the most evil in the world? Another of your siblings?” Tapirmon quietly laughed. “No, of course not,” he said. “The other two would be useless. They would use us… at least one of them would. Flay would just run away back to the comfort of his volcano.” “True,” Hiroshi agreed. “I suppose we could search the Yami Terminal for descendants of our followers. They would have to help us; it’s in their blood.” Tapirmon included, “Also, it would be nice to have help from willing servants other than enslaving good Digimon.” “But it’s fun to enslave victims!” whined Hiroshi. Tapirmon scoffed, “Hiroshi.” He rolled his eyes. “I know; I know. You’re right. As amusing and pleasurable it may be, imprisoning innocent Digimon – that aren’t even really innocent as they’ve all betrayed us before – ” “Hiroshi!” Tapirmon hissed. “ – it would only get the Defenders on our tail, and then we’d never shake them off,” he finished. “Go to the Yami Terminal, Tapirmon,” Hiroshi ordered. “Find us a willing soul or two and bring them here.” “Yes, Master,” Tapirmon concurred. “I shall require an evolution first.” Hiroshi smiled. “But of course.” After a flash of light and a few choice words of activation, Sorcerymon appeared in the ghost’s position. “I shall return,” Sorcerymon stated. He waved his scepter and faded away in blue horizontal lines. Hiroshi walked back over to his desk and stared at the scroll showing the evil Digimon. “They will not return as they died,” he told himself. “The Dark Masters will resurrect as completely different Digimon… But it will still be worth it. As for you,” he said as he placed his finger on the Digimon in the center of the page, “you will arrive as soon as Sorcerymon is strong enough to evolve.” {* A/N – Honto is Japanese for “Really?” Wakarimasu [wa-ka-ree-mas] is Japanese for “I understand.”}

Digimon TerminalsBy DescendantOfTheSun21Block Two - “Evil See, Evil Do” Chapter Nine “Leomon’s Tale”“When is this cousin of yours going to get here, Leormon?” Saburou asked the lion Digimon. “He said he would be here sometime today. Keep in mind, he’s returning all the way from the Forest Terminal,” Leormon responded. Wisemon walked by, handing out cups of tea to the Defenders who were resting comfortably in the lounge, one floor below the control room. He returned the silver tray on which he carried the drinks back to the kitchen-like area there in the lounge. Wisemon put the try in the sink and turned to say, “Someone’s here.” At that moment, the elevator doors opened to reveal a tall lion Digimon with a sword on his belt. “Cousin!” Leormon greeted. The small Digimon ran to greet his family member, who knelt down to be eye-level with him. “Hey, little cous’,” the guest responded as he petted Leormon on his head. “Everyone,” Leormon addressed, “this is my cousin, Leomon. Leomon, this is everyone!” Takeshi smiled and said, “It’s nice to finally meet you, Leomon. Leormon has told us nothing but good things about you.” He reached out to shake his hand, which Leomon accepted. Leomon followed the Defenders back to their seats and sat in the middle of a curved couch with Leormon jumping up and sitting beside him. “So,” the rookie lion started, “did you have fun on your vacation? “Well, it was more of a mission than a vacation,” Leomon laughed. “Once I arrived in the Forest Terminal’s Flora Domain, I saw that the entire domain had been enslaved.” His tone became very serious and information telling. Wisemon walked past and stopped in his tracks when he heard the word ‘enslaved.’ He turned to hear the story. “All of the Digimon,” Leomon continued, “had glowing red eyes and dark markings on their hands. I found a shelter of innocent people and Digimon who were in hiding from their corrupted friends. I had to help them reclaim their innocence.” “Wow,” Aruraumon and Lunamon said together. Their eyes got big, and they both started to blush. “You’re a hero!” they yelled together. Yuzuki looked and noticed the female Digimon’s fangirl-ness had taken over. “Calm down, girls,” she said. Leomon looked at Aruraumon. “You know,” he said, “you look familiar.” The plant Digimon then had a big smile. Yuzuki rolled her eyes and asked, “Leomon, please continue.” The big lion nodded. He let his story unfold… ~~~~~~ Leomon arrived in the Flora Domain of the Forest Terminal. The Flora Domain was the largest domain in the terminal and housed the capital, Soumoku. He was ready to relax and enjoy his stay away from the hassles that involved with living in the Musha Terminal. As he stepped off of the large steamship, he realised that the Digimon that surrounded him were acting rather odd. He thought it might just be because he was not used to this terminal, but that thought quickly faded away that night. Leomon found his temporary home in a hotel room run by a somewhat cheerful Kabukimon. He awoke in the middle of the night to a group of Digimon that consisted of Veggiemon, RedVeggiemon, and Zassoumon trying to tangle him in their vine-shaped arms. Of course, these small, plant Digimon were no match for Leomon’s strength. The large lion rose from his bed and forcefully broke through the Digimon’s vines, ripping the limbs in half and causing the viral Digimon to burst into data, which he proudly loaded. Leomon ran out onto his balcony and jumped off, down to the road below. He landed successfully and rose to see all of the Digimon who were acting odd before resembling zombies in the way they advanced towards Leomon. Luckily, Leomon was able to maneuver his way around the Digimon, fighting off those who tried to attack him. Focusing all of his attention on the enemy Digimon and not paying any of it on where he was going, he stumbled over a tree branch and fell through the trunk of a tree. “A hiding tree?” he thought. He rose and dusted his self off. He raised his head and saw a group of humans and small in-training level Digimon crunching together, afraid of the tall lion. “Oh don’t be afraid,” Leomon said gently. “I am here to help.” The cowering innocents believed him, knowing of his great work. “First, however, you must tell me what is going on with all those Digimon out there!” “We do not know,” a small girl who could not have been older than eleven years old spoke up. “Everything was going fine until recently. About a week ago a mysterious person showed up. He wore a hood that concealed his face and tried to keep a robe over his Digimon, but I was able to guess at who it was. The robe did conceal most of its body, but I was able to see smoke at the bottom of it. I disagreeumption was that it was a Mokumon,” she said, sensing that Leomon was irritated that she was getting off-topic. “Anyways,” she continued, “he requested to stay a night in the hotel but was denied entry due to his lack of money. He came back an hour later with the amount he needed and received his key. That night, we received news about a robbery at a nearby grocery store. The manager found out that the hooded stranger was the culprit and went to his room to evict him and hand him over to the proper authorities. When he got there, however, he saw that the room was empty and a note left that said, ‘Do not worry. I have already succeeded in what I came here to do,’” the girl finished. “Well, don’t you just know everything?” Leomon asked in a joking manner. The girl retained her serious face. “This is no laughing matter, sir. Everyone in this city takes these events critically. We maintain precise accurateness with the truth around here.” Leomon nodded. “So you do not know who this person is; however, you are sure that he is the cause of the disturbance and corruption of the Digimon here?” Everyone in the room nodded. “Do you have any idea on how he did this?” “No,” the girl responded, “unfortunately.” “Well,” an older woman around the age of sixty or so started, “there is a theory.” “But this THeory,” the young girl, putting emphasis on the ‘th’ for some reason, hissed, “has not yet been proven, and thus, cannot be spread as a rumour may be born.” “Um,” Leomon started. “Have you ever considered THerapy?” he asked, putting the same emphasis as she. She just narrowed her brows. Leomon’s smile showed her he was just kidding, trying to break the uncomfortable tension in the room…or rather, tree. “May I please hear this theory?” The elder woman responded, “A few members of the FDK think that he placed some kind of curse on the village with his Digimon.” “I’m sorry,” Leomon interrupted. “FDK?” “Flora Domain Keisatsu,”* the young girl answered. “So how do I rid the Digimon of the curse other than just destroying them?” Leomon questioned. “We destroy the source,” the young girl said. “Well, how do we know what the source of it is?” “Well, supposedly,” the old lady said, “the perpetrator placed the curse on the Tachikawa Statue which, hidden in the forest, protects the Forest Terminal…according to mythology, anyways. If he placed a curse on it and mythology holds true, then the statue is producing a wave of darkness that all the Digimon who were open to it were affected. These Digimon here and those in other hiding trees are the only ones pure enough to protect themselves from it.” “That’s why almost all of the Digimon here are in-training forms,” Leomon realised, “because they are too young to acknowledge evil.” There was a short pause and then Leomon, just now catching that the young girl had said, “We destroy the source,” shook his head and quickly said, “Wait! What do you mean, ‘we’?” “You don’t think that I’m going to let you step in as the hero around here, do you?” the girl asked in a very thingyy tone. Leomon’s head slightly turned to the right. “What are you talking about?” The elder woman smiled. “Little Hanako here is the village’s protector. She and her Palmon make an invincible team…even if she’s only made it to champion level.” The face of the young girl, now known to Leomon as ‘Hanako,’ rapidly changed from that of a proud person to that of one that was aggravated. “You couldn’t have just stopped at ‘invincible team,’ could you?” “Fine,” Leomon said. “But you do what I tell you.” “Pfft,” Hanako scoffed. “What–ever,” she said, putting the denoted pause in between the first and second syllables. “Kinasai, Palmon,” Hanako told her Digimon to follow her. They walked out of the hiding tree with Leomon behind them. In their secluded area, they were able to see groups of infected Digimon, but they could not see the heroes. Hanako, Palmon, and Leomon crept slowly through the weeds, careful not to make a sound. They reached the edge of the forest that housed the statue. “There,” Palmon whispered, pointing to a dark blue light that shone through the trees. “What do we do once we get there, Hana?” Palmon asked her partner. “We cannot destroy the statue,” she said. “If we cause any damage to it, we would be the victims of an unbearable curse.” Leomon rolled his eyes. “Right,” he sarcastically muttered. He started to walk towards the source of the light. When they all came in sight of it, however, it was not the statue that was glowing. The light was being produced by a Digimon…a blue Digimon…with a conical hat…and a scepter…who, to Leomon, highly resembled a Wizardmon. ~~~~~ “Sorcerymon!” Takeshi screamed, interrupting Leomon’s story. “You mean that Hiroshi was the one who corrupted the Digimon?” Leormon asked his cousin. “I’m…sorry,” Leomon said, pausing between the words as he slowly shook his head. “I do not know of this Hiroshi. Who is he?” “Pure evil,” Takeshi mumbled. In a more audible voice, he said, “Hiroshi is Sorcerymon’s partner, the Digimon that you saw in the forest. Basically, just as Fanglongmon is our deity of good, Hiroshi is a deity of evil. He was the one that kidnapped Leormon, as I’m sure he’s told you.” “Oh, yeah,” Leomon realised. “I know who you are talking about. I mean, I’ve never met him, but I have heard of him.” “So what happened next, Leomon?” Ayaka asked politely. “Nothing really,” Leomon said. “When we saw him, he just swore and disappeared in the weirdest way. The image of his body changed to these blue and silver lines and just faded away. Once he left, all of the Digimon returned to normal. “What happened with the little girl?” Yuzuki asked. “Hanako? Well she helped those in hiding come back and regain their normal lives. Some of the corrupted Digimon did not return to their normal state, and unfortunately, her Palmon had to evolve to Sunflowmon and fight off the Digimon that tried to harm them,” Leomon explained. “She refused to load their data, and the Digimon were able to regenerate as digitamas.” “Well, I’m glad you’re safe, Leo-chan,” Lunamon said affectionately as she slowly advanced towards him. Yuzuki grabbed one of her ears and pulled her back. Suddenly, the alarm from the control room rang out, piercing through the floor that divided it from the lounge. “What is that?” Leomon frantically asked, worried that something was wrong. “It’s the alarm,” Takeshi said. Wisemon held up his arms and somehow caused all of them to quickly vanish and reappear in the control room. Takeshi looked over at him and was going to ask, “How?” but he knew that Wisemon was a wizard Digimon. With them, anything was possible. “Where’s the signal coming from?” Saburou questioned. KoKabuterimon was the first to see the screen. “It’s in the Flame Terminal!” Haruki was more worried than the rest, as the Flame Terminal was his place to protect. “Let’s go!” “I’m coming too,” Leomon said. No one objected, knowing that help should never be denied. “So,” Hiroshi asked Sorcerymon when he returned earlier that day. “Were you able to find a willing slave…er, I mean Digimon?” “Yes,” Sorcerymon said as he walked over to stand next to his partner, “but he said he needed to think about it.” “Think about it?” Hiroshi repeated. “What is there to think about? Viral Digimon should be ecstatic to serve their lord!” Sorcerymon shrugged his shoulders. “Have you been able to track down the new evolutionary power yet?” Sorcerymon asked. “Not yet,” Hiroshi said. “I was certain that it was inside of the Tachikawa Statue, but as soon as you started to work your magic on it, it changed locations.” “Do you even know what this power is?” “No,” he mumbled. “Just go and find that Digimon again and bring him here.” “Yes, Master,” Sorcerymon bowed and vanished. Hiroshi turned back to his desk. On the papers there was sketched a pattern. Hiroshi’s eyes grew as he scanned his finger across one of the many lines on the page. “There,” he whispered. “Kanbara Castle,” he mumbled the name of the location. “In the Flame Terminal…is where we’ll try next.”

Quite entertaining. It has some of my favorite digimon (lekismon, leomon, etc.). I also thought the jokes were funny, especially "female Dobermon." I don't think Tapirmon is a ghost, though, I think he's classified as an animal digimon, as tapirs are real animals. They're also more related to horses than mammoths. I like tapirs.

Oh I know, I just use the term "ghost" because of his ethereal qualities and capabilities. But oh my gosh, thanks for actually taking the time to read it . Practically everyone just sees how long it is and clicks the back button immediately. I have been (and still am) swamped with school stuff right now so I haven't been able to do anything with it, but now that I know that _someone_ has looked at it, I might shuffle my priorities around, LoL.

No problem. It did take me a long time to read it, though.

I think this story is wonderful so far. It starts late, but the flashbacks make sense of things. Hopefully we'll get to delve a bit into how the Defenders started out, 'cause I'm curious about that. You're Digital World is nice, but in my humble opinion, it makes too much sense, and sense is something the Digital World doesn't usually have. Then again, a break of tradition is always good. Characters are nice. (though I always have trouble keeping track of Japanese names) How old are each of them. (Unless you mentioned their ages earlier and I was too lazy and didn't catch them.)

How old are each of them. (Unless you mentioned their ages earlier and I was too lazy and didn't catch them.) Yeah, the ages are listed in the first chapter, lol. Takeshi (the leader) is 17, Haruki and Yuzuki (the twins) are 16, and then Saburou and Ayaka are 15. And I have been trying to work on this for some time now, but school never ceases in its attempt to throw every assignment imaginable at me. Like yesterday, I spent ELEVEN HOURS from 6am to 5pm html-ing a webpage for my Calculus class....ugh.... And then I have another story I wrote last year that people at school are yelling at me to continue and then there's one from three years ago that is currently in its fourth re-write because versions 1-3 were just awful, and I'm never going to get that done either....and then two days ago I started yet another story - why, I do not know - because I had the sudden impulse on an idea........ oi....... But when I have a chance, I will attempt to work on chapter ten, which is almost half-way done already. Thanks again to everyone who read it!
