Prologue Part: 1
I remember that morning so well. It was sprinkling and the sky was showing signs of a storm.
He came into my room very early in the morning, being careful to step over my things scattered across the room. He woke me up from a very peaceful sleep, but I was surprisingly ok with it.
As I rolled over to face him, wipping the spit from my face; my brother always said if that happened the sleep was peaceful, he threw some clothes that were already set out into my face and told me to get dressed. You see we were leaving for the digital world.
After I toke my cold shower and got dressed I grabbed my pack and a special pack made for carrying large eggs, specifically digimon eggs.
You see my brother was a digimon tamer, but some called him the breeder. He would take trips to the digital world and raise fallen digimon back into their original state before death. Once they had reached what was called their rookie forms he would return them into the wild. He would do this both from our world or the digital.
This time was my first to go with him, I had never been to that world before then. So when I was done gearing up we left. We went to an old abandoned railroad station. Well that was until I saw others there, close to our age. There were about three or four of them.
After about an hours wait a large train tatooed with graffiti pulled through on one rail and stopped in front of the platform. With a large smoke stack and a loud whistling sound the train yelled out 'All aboard to the digital world'. This of course took me by surprise being that a talking train.
We, along with the others on the platform boarded the train. As soon as we all stepped on it took off in a rush through pitch darkness followed by a colorful spotty realm, then we were in the digital world within five minutes. Or atleast thats what my brother said because half the time I could still only see colorful spots. Once I came to I saw a vast landscape filled with large monsterous trees; seem even seemed to be alive, tall grass, and over a couple of high hills I saw what looked to be a gaint baby's alphebate blocks stacked up into the theme of a city.
As we stepped off of what I now knew to be a Trailmon, my brother waved farewell to the other passengers and spoke for a little while to one he seemed to know quite well. Within a moment after the Trailmon left a small old raggidy digimon carrying a cane with a claw on the top walked up to me and my brother. I knew of this digimon because I had seen it once before at our home, his name was Jijimon and he was my brothers digimon partner. Then after another long chat between the two, which I took the that time to look around the area a little more, we made our way to the baby block city I had seen earlier. This turned out to be my brothers raising farm.
When we reached the place I instantly felt safe and happy. They were large fields scattered with digi-eggs, small hutts, and even a couple of digi-gyms. We had entered a larger hutt which inside was not really big. There were about three beds and a small nursery.
When we went in at the same time two digi-eggs appeared on one of the beds. One was brown swirled in pink and the other was red spotted in black dots. They glowed with a strange aura around them. My brother seemed to already know who was inside these two digi-eggs because he sighed and shoke his head inside his hands. He then told me to pack them up in my digi-egg pack I had brought.
Just then the sky was turning black outside, like the hand of a clock turning the sky on the face. It was now night. My brother said it was like being in America experiencing day while somewhere on the other side of the world was having night. He then explained that we best start adjusting to the time now and get some rest, so we did.
Prologue Part 2
I was awoken by the clock turning sky as night became morning in a matter of seconds. When I rose from the bed I realized besides the digi-eggs, I was the only one in there. My brother had already gone out to work.
So I got up too, putting on my gear and the special egg pack. I went outside, squinting for a second as my eyes adjusted to the bright sky. I found my brother over in one of the fields with his partner Jijimon. They were turning digi-eggs over and wrapping some in soft cushions. As I made my way over to him, careful to watch out for the many of eggs scattered across the ground, I realized there were alot of digimon dying and coming back as digi-eggs. As I looked around I asked my brother if dying and coming back as digi-eggs alot is normal around here.
I remember the panic in his response, it seems like its the only tone I hear when I remember my brothers voice. But he explained that the concept was normal but the rapid incomings right now was not normal, not at all. He updated me on the recent happenings in this world and they were bad, a corruption was going around and all digimon were fighting.
Thats when it happened, as if on cue, when Apocalymon appeared. I could tell by the way it moved and looked that this digimon was very powerful and somewhat legendary. Unfourtunatly I could also see it was very dark and evil, somewhat corrupt.
The worst of all was what followed, the dark trail of nothingness that gave this digimon its darkened outline and evil look. The only thing my brother could say as he saw it coming for awhile was 'deletion'. This trail of nothingness was dark and empty but it was as if there was a vampirish mouth within it sucking the life and happiness out of everything. I was transfixed to it with a dull outlook.
What broke me out was probley my brothers fourth plea for me to run. I snapped out of it and started to run, but I only made it to the hut when I saw my brother was not with me. He and Jijimon were turned into battle with the monster. Once again he yelled for me to run. With only a seconds delay I knew I could trust him so I turn and ran.
I made it to the Trailmon just as it was leaving. I jumped onto the back of the train and turned to see if my brother was coming now. All I saw was the line of nothingness paused motionless almost completely swallowing the babys' alphebate block farm, then I saw the colorful dots.
Chapter One: [ENTER] Part: 1
My name is Gabriel Lux. I am sixteen years old and I live in America by myself, that is unless you don't my digital partners Lopmon and Triceramon X.
Today I am going to try and go into the digital world like I usually do on weekends. But I don't even know if it even exists anymore but as long as I have my digimon partners with me I believe it does.
I got up off of my blow up mattress and got dressed. I put on my pack and strapped my new device to my side. I finally got a digivice when my partners eggs hatched.
Lopmon jumped up onto my head for the ride and said,"Lets go! We gotta pick up Triceramon before we go to the station!"
"Yep. Lets get going to the harbor then.",I said as I was stepping out the door.
We were half way there when we met up with Noah. Noah was pretty much the only person who believed Gabriel about the digital world now. Noah was ten years old, short with blonde hair almost like a messed up afro; He always wore a jersey over ever thing he wore.
"Good Morning Noah.",I said with a smile as I patted him on top of his head.
"Good Morning Gabriel, Lopmon.",He said in a bouncy tone,"Are we going to the docks for Triceramon?"
"Yes we are.",I said laughing.
"Would you like to join us.",Lopmon asked sarcasticlly.
Noah jumped up trying to pop one on Lopmon but he was to short to reach the top of my head. It was like that all the way to dock eighteen, where Triceramon X was.
I pushed open the old abandoned dock doors and inside was Triceramon X lying down but awake and ready. The inside of the dock was lined with pillows and other soft things making the place comfortable. When Triceramon X saw us enter the dock he bounced up and down happily like Noah did when they met up with him earlier, but TriceramonX's bounces were like small tremors.
"Hey Triceramon!!",Noah yelled out bouncing again over to Triceramon X.
"Noah!",replied Triceramon X.
Lopmon added in a sarcastic,"Gabriel!" for the fun of it.
"Hey Triceramon",I said between laughs,"we're off to the Trailmon station to see if it comes today."
"Ok Gabriel, I'm ready!",Triceramon said.
Then Noah broke some of the happiness.
"Ummm, you know Gabriel, everyone is saying your weird and that the digital world doesn't exist anymore, not since five years ago.",He said in a low tone.
I already knew people though that about me but I had to believe. After all my brother was still in there, plus Lopmon and Triceramon are still here.
I hung my head down low and replied,"I know, but I still have to have hope." which was then followed by a long silence all the way to the Trailmon station. We all sat down on a bench closest to the tunnel.
Noah broke the silence later on when he said,"Gabriel. I'm sorry about earlier. But nows the best time to let you know I'm moving. I'll be to far away to reach you and hang out like this. We're moving next Monday, tomorrow."
I sighed,"Okay Noah. I'll miss us hanging out bud. I'll find a way to get you to the digital world when I do, I promise."
"Okay. Thanks.",He said in a low doubtful tone.
The sun started to duck behind the horizon which meant time to go home. With all our goodbyes we left and went our own ways.
Tomorrow was Monday which meant school, so I hurried home to get some sleep.
Chapter One: [ENTER] Part: 2
The Next Morning I sluggishly woke up. I strapped on my digivice and switched my gear for the digital world in my pack with my school stuff instead. I was running late which made the whole arguement with Lopmon about why she can't come to school with me that much more annoying considering that she did it every time. That made me five minutes late for school. Which caused my fifth tardy in my homeroom class this month.
After the teacher handed me the pink slip I went over and sat down in the crapy desk that was about to fall in towards the middle; my chest.
As I started my morning work on the board the T.V. came on for the daily news as it always did. It told about the weather, the sports, and even the incoming envasion of digimon. Thats right the incoming envasion of digimon, but they weren't normal. I knew it right off the bat. They were corrupt just like the Apocalymon. Just then the report was cut off as a loud high-pitched whitenoise came across the speakers, the screen turned purple and a large red eye was looking at everyone from within the screen.
Then a loud scratchy voice could be heard everywhere like it was in the room with you screaming,"WELCOME TO THE DIGITAL WORLD!"
Immediatly after the voice said that the world as I knew it changed. Some buildings became huts or hills, oceans popped up where they weren't supposed to be, and dark holes just like the one that Apocalymon created popped up with a steady flow of corrupt digimon flowing out. The human world and the digital world were becoming one.
Everyone started to panic, which you wouldn't think would happen because of how much everybody says 'Don't panic in a dangerous or unsure moment'. Well I paniced a little too as I ran for the door and out of the school.
Already waiting outside was Triceramon X facing off with corrupt digimon all around the school. I ran up to Triceramon's side digivice at the ready.
"Triceramon, do you know whats going on?",I screamed as I dodged attacks all around me.
With a grunt he replied,"No, not a clue. But I hope Lopmon is okay."
Just then Triceramon took a massive hit from the side and had to back out of the battle. As he fell on his stomach I jumped onto his back.
"We need to get to Lopmon Triceramon, so that she can help.",I screamed over the fight. But really I wanted to make sure she was okay. Most the digimon coming in were Champion or Ultimate and Lopmon was only rookie right now.
Triceramon nodded and took off in a rush down the street abandoning the battle. As we did large groups of corrupt Devimon started to swarm the school gathering people up. There was nothing we could do now though.
We ran down Williams Street when I heard another battle going on nearby. That was strange considering all the digimon coming through were corrupt and were on the same side. Then it hit me. That was Lopmon, but why so far away from the apartment. As we got closer to the scene I could see Lopmon using Dark Twister protecting some people in a vehicle. The people I saw turned out to be Noah and his family.
Noah screamed out at me,"So I guess you found a way there. Nice job bringing it to me."
I screamed back,"I have nothing to do with this one. I was at school."
I jumped down off of Triceramon X as he joined the battle with Lopmon and ran over to Noah and his family ducking down behind their car.
"I don't know whats happening. This is bad.",I said to Noah as I sat down behind the car next to him.
"What are we going to do. Theres to many of them. Some dark looking monsters took the people from the car next to us too just a minute ago. They'll be back for us soon.",He said covering his head as an explosion from an attack hit the car.
"Lets move. We need to find a safe place.",I said jumping up.
"Hey Gabriel! I can find a safe spot but I need help!",Lopmon replied.
"Got it!",I screamed,"LOPMON DIGIVOLVE!"
Just then Lopmon digivolved in a circle of a soft brown light and came out as Wendigomon. A large digimon with brown fur and long arms.
I don't remember what Wendigomon did next but we were suddenly transported to a large grassy field where we could no longer hear the sounds of battle. Later on Wendigomon told me it was a move of hers that could teleport anywhere and even create her own small realm.
I got out from behind the car that came to this realm with us and Noah followed too, but not his family.
"What happened to my family. Wheres my mom and dad and my little sister? What did you do?",Noah exclaimed.
"What?",I asked surprised,"Lopmon where are they?"
"I don't know. I thought I brought them with us. I'm sorry Gabriel. I'm sorry Noah, really I am.",Wendigomon said sadly.
Noah dropped down and tucked his head in his knees and wrapped his arms around his head and began to cry. I didn't know what to do. Wendigomon then degenerated back to Lopmon. Triceramon X layed down and began to lick his wound on his side.
Just then a small digimon came up to Noah and rubbed againt his side. It was a gummymon. Everyone looked at it frightened and Lopmon even started up a Dark Twister, but then I noticed it didn't look corrupt. In fact it looked really sweet.
"What? Its a noncorrupt digimon. How did it get here?",I asked staring at it.
"You know. We were fighting a DRapidmon before I transfered us here.",Lopmon said in a suggestive tone.
"You mean, when it came here it changed back to normal?",I asked.
"Its possible. We don't know anything about the corruption.",Lopmon said as she walked over to the small green blob-like creature.
I walked up to it too and stroked it across its head. Noah even looked up from crying and started to pet it. He even smiled.
"Sorry if I hurt you. My name is Gummymon.",It said still rubbing against Noah.
"You know Noah, maybe he could help us get your family back.",I said.
"Really?",Noah exclaimed.
"I can, its the least I could considering the damage and your help.",Gummymon said.
Just then a device similar to mine landed in Noah's lap. It was white bordered in blue. Noah had just gotten his digivice and his digimon partner.
Chapter Two: [RENTER] Part: 1
After Noah stopped crying and everyone had time to think things over it finally dawned on Noah.
"I have a digimon partner now.",Noah said in between a few lasting tears.The Gummymon was jumping around him happily. Not only was it free from the corruption now but he a human partner.
Just then the ugly truth crept upon us as TriceramonX asked the dreaded question,"So what are we going to do now?"
Lopmon hit him upside the head.
"Well were going to have to free everyone.",I said.
"Yeah but how are we supposed to teleport all the digimon here?",Lopmon asked.
"We're not. We have to kill them but save as many as we can.",I explained.
"But digimon are reborn into digi-eggs. They'll just come back.",Gummymon piped up bringing a good point.
"Let's hope since the digital world is now part of the human world that the human ways dominate.",I said feeling shot down.
"And if not?",Triceramon asked.
"I don't know, we'll find another way.",I said ending with a sigh.
I walked over to Noah and gave him my hand to help him up from the ground. He accepted it and got up only to stand there hopelessly in place. I sighed and then nodded over to Lopmon.
"Okay! DIGIVOLVE!",she screamed and in a flash she had digivolved into her champion form Wendigomon again.
"Everyone ready?",I asked when suddenly another flash of light came from behind me as Gummymon digivolved into Terriermon then straight to champion; Gargomon.
I could hear Noah whipering to himself 'mom, dad, lil' sis' over and over. These emotions must have been what drove the Gummymon to bypass digivolve straight into it's champion form.
Then Wendigomon ripped the deminson before Gargomon could digivolve anymore and transported us back into the new Digi/Man World.
I don't know where we landed but it seemed to be a safe place; grassy, open, and peaceful. Obviously untouched by the corruption flowing into this world. Also, this time Wendigomon stayed in her champion form along with Gargomon.
"Wheres my family?",Noah suddenly burst out, his voice full of determination now.
"I don't know. We'll have to see where they take the prisoners or whatever they are.",I shrugged.
"Jump on.",TriceramonX said crouching down so everyone could reach up.
We all loaded up onto TriceramonX's back. As we rose up into the air I noticed the outline of the city only a couple of hills away. I pointed it out to TriceramonX and he quickly took off towards it.
As we got closer and closer to the city the land around us became more lonely and dead. I could have even sworn I saw corrupt looking computer data flowing in the sky.
