Description: Tapirmon is the first Digimon that Hiroshi obtained. Tapirmon was originally fully corrupted by evil, but Hiroshi was able to somewhat purify him. Tapirmon dedicated himself to his new master. His first Mega form, Barbamon, was revealed when complete and utter darkness from within Tapirmon showed itself. Only when Hiroshi unleashed the Burst Mode meant for his ghost Digimon was Tapirmon able to evolve to a purified Mega form, SlashAngemon. Now, Tapirmon always evolves to that Mega form but will occasionally transform to Barbamon in dire cases. He is male.

ClavisAngemon could be considered as Patamon's Burst Mode as the Burst option of the Digivice iC is activated for his appearance. As you can see from the use of pronouns in this paragraph, he is a male.

After rescuing the Digi-dog from a deadly attack from a corrupted BanchouLeomon, Gaomon gave his life to Hiroshi and dedicated himself to him. Gaomon is very obedient and will follow his master's instructions without question. He will, however, tell Hiroshi what he thinks is wrong with his plans, but will never disobey them. Gaomon is not the most loyal, but his obedience does seem to show up Patamon and Tapirmon from time to time. He is male.
