The other half of the RP for Digimon players (obviously.) Just as a side note, people who want to are still allowed to join.

Like any normal person who hears an explosion coming from the town they live near, Fleeter the Rakumon woke with a start that morning. She immediately scurried under her bed and sat there trembling until she realized the conflict she was hearing was elsewhere. Relieved, but still disturbed, she peaked out from the large knothole in the tree that was her home.
At that very moment, a Vilemon tumbled inside the tree right on top of the poor Rakumon.
"Yeeek!" she squealed in pain from its weight. "Don't eat me, birdie! I'm not tasty!"
Vilemon quickly and obligingly jumped off of Fleeter and gently set her upright. "No one's going to get eaten if you follow my instructions, little one!" He declared without preamble. (He really wasn't a whole lot larger that Fleeter, but she didn't feel like pointing that out to him.) "Either stay here in secret, hiding away, or run as far as you can to the east, and tell everyone you can those very same instructions along the way."
"But why?" Fleeter asked. Since he was far less vile than Fleeter had first anticipated, she lost all fear and resorted to her second favorite emotion, curiosity.
"Cause we're under attack, dense-head!! Only the East Dragon can deliver us from this plague!" And without waiting for a second question, he spread his ragged wings and flew off into the dawn.
When Vilemon was no longer blocking the view, Fleeter finally caught a glimpse of this Plague and blanched. Coming toward the forest at a slow but steady pace was a fleet of what looked like metallic submarines and sailing ships all floating in the sky above rather than in an ocean. There was something so menacingly comical about this that Fleeter didn't know whether to laugh or scream. In the end, she simply fled her hallow, jaws clamped shut in fear. The East Dragon doesn't have a bad reputation, so why not?

"Badda-Boom!!" A fireball whoosed through the air and hit the Rukamon, giving off the sound of a fire cracker as it hit and then exploded. Then a little digimon jumped out from behind a bush, laughing. "Hahaha! That was too easy!" He said, grinning a fanged grin. "Al'ight Fluffy, tell me where the ride to the Human World is, or your tree house gets it!" Impmon snapped, holding a flaming finger close to the raccoon digimon's home where the base of the tree trunk was.

Rao knew an attack was close, just as many others. Instead of making him full of fear or anxiety like many others, he was getting pumped. Full of energy and ready to unleash it, Rao welcomed the fight more than anything else. After a throwing a few punches through the air, he continued along, in almost a strut that advertised just how proud he was.
Something disturbing came into his sight, something he felt obligated to deal with. Yet another belligerent, pestering an innocent Digimon. Rao crouched down and growled. "Hey, you! Impmon, this is not time to be wasting energy on this petty conflict. Look, over there!" Rao motioned to the intimidating and ominous force in the sky. "They are the true enemy. Unless you want to devote yourself to fighting a worthy battle than I might have to end your life."
(ooc: don't know exactly what's going on but I'm going with it I guess)

Thank Yggdrasil for that other Digimon's arrival! The pain from the wound had brought tears to Fleeter's eyes, but she had enough strength to fly and zoom away though the trees, but she only got so far.
There it was...a THING!
It stood about four feet tall on knobbly knees, with skin that seemed to shimmer like gray water. It was hunchbacked, neckless, and terrifying, but the strangest thing of all was its eyes. Every part of the creature screamed evil, except for those odd, innocent-looking, blue eyes that could have gone on a Digimon.
But this was no Digimon. It couldn't be. It just couldn't!
Fleeter managed to stop herself in mid flight and spin around, but something latched onto her tail and wouldn't let go. Nothing doubting what it was.
She shrieked ands struggled. "Let me go! Let me go! What'd I ever do to you?!! Please, let me go!!"
"You will join our group, little Digimon," The low, chilling voice droned.
"I...I..." If she said no, the Thing would most likely kill her, but if she said yes, ten she would be a traitor to all Digimon. She wasn't sure if that was any better then death. What was she going to do?

"Metal Cannon!" There was a loud bang and a large metal sphere came from nowhere and smashed directly into the gray monster's head with enough force to shatter a small boulder. The source of the attack came from the creatures left, a small purple-furred reptile-like Digimon. He was scarred witless, but he couldn't just sit by and do nothing while someone else got hurt! He bared his teeth, preparing to fight some more if the alien creature didn't let go of the Rakumon.
There were claw marks on the ground from when he first fired the metal cannonball. It truly was a powerful attack, but not his most powerful. "Get out of our world you freak, what have we done to you to deserve this?" Dorumon had been sleeping in a cave when he heard a small explosion. He had ventured outside and saw a large group of digimon fleeing in a single direction. He had no idea what was happening, no idea of the danger. He should have followed them, instead of looking for the source of the panic. Of course, in retrospect, it was probably a good thing for this other Digimon that his curiosity outweighed his common sense. He just hoped he could survive this encounter with a creature that was neither flesh or really made of data.

Impmon's ears pricked up at the sound of another voice. He turned his head and saw Rao. "Hey! Shut up, would ya? You can't tell me what I can and can't do!" He snapped, clenching his gloved fists. He didn't notice what was happening behind him; Fleeter was about to get captured by a.... thing, and then a Dorumon came on the scene. The little imp turned his head around, "Oh, NOW what?!"

The thing stumbled from the blow and lessened it's grip on Fleeter's tail. The instant this happened, she was off, zipping away. Then, once high enough, she U-turned in the easterly direction when she remembered Vilemon's instructions.
"East!!" she shrieked, voice fading fast. "Head east!!!"
"East, indeed!" the Thing laughed coldly while nursing its wound. "Run away to your superiors, but not even they will stop us," it told the Digimon still standing there. It then tried to plod away, but...

Dorumon tsked as the other Digimon fled, leaving him ultimately alone with this strange monster without even so much as a 'thank you'. He couldn't think about it now, as the purple Digimon gave away vital information, useful for both him and their enemy. And now it seemed as if this blob would tell his superiors about the group heading east. He couldn't allow it. He would stay and prevent this thing from leaving. It was no Digimon, so Dorumon couldn't judge its strength or level. Well, there was no turning back.
"Dash Metal!" Dorumon rushed forward as fast as he could, his claws and fangs glowing silver as he leapt and bit and slashed at the blob creature. He landed on the other side of the creature, slid on the soft ground and turned around, growling. "I won't let you get away" He growled. If he was careful, he should be able to get out of this alive.

Groaning, (in pain?) the Thing recoiled from Dorumon's attack, staggered a few paces, and collapsed in a slowly melting blob. A sickly, fish-like smell emanated as the corpse trickled apart and evaporated in long gray wisps of steam...
...not to far ahead, Fleeter was hesitating. As usual, she felt inarguably guilty for leaving that kind Digimon to fend for himself. Then again, her logical side tried to justify, even if you did stay behind, there wouldn't have been a lot you could do to help out. You probably would have just gotten grabbed again.
Peeking out from behind the tree she was resting at, Fleeter suddenly caught a whiff of the decaying Thing. What is that smell? It's making me hungry. Drowned by curiosity and guilt, the instinctual logical side became silent, and she started back to see what had happened.
