Second part! Enjoy, foolish mortals!
Kataki growled as she noticed that the little digimon was no longer in the pantry. She heard a whistle behind her back, and she turned around to see the digimon with a fireball on his fingertip. He then fired the flame at Kataki. ”Badda Boom!!”
The girl yelped and tried to block it with her broom, but as usual, fire always triumphs over wood. Kataki watched as the broom split apart and fell to the floor.
"W-what the--" Kataki stuttered and she lifted her head to get a closer look at the digimon. Wait a minute... is that...
"Hey, whadda doin' staring at me? Aren't ya gonna say something?!" The digimon snapped. Kataki blinked. "Uh...um... like what?" She asked.
"Like 'sorry'??!"
"Well I wasn't the one who broke into my pantry and began to steal all my food!" Kataki snapped back.
The digimon growled, then leaped up on a still ceiling fan. Kataki yelped and said, "Hey, get down from there!"
"No way!"
Kataki sighed and looked up at the little digimon. "Are you by any chance a... Digimon?" She asked.
The digimon narrowed his green eyes. "Of course I'm a Digimon! Are you blind??!" He snarled, clenching his fists. He crossed his arms and glared down at the human. "Peh. All you humans are so stupid!"
The 15 year-old grumbled, then gasped. "Wait a minute! You're Impmon, aren't you?!"
"Duh!"
Kataki was stunned. An actual Digimon was in her house! And it was one of them that she liked! She walked over to a chair at the table under the ceiling fan and sat down, thinking about what she should do.
Impmon arched an eyebrow at her, then jumped from the fan and landed on her shoulders.
"What the-- Hey, what are you doing?" Kataki asked, turning her head to look at him. "What d'you think I'm doin'? I'm riding on your shoulders."
Kataki chuckled and smiled up at Impmon who stared down at her. Impmon moved his ears up and down, making Kataki laugh. "Hey, I just made ya laugh!" Impmon explained, smirking.
Kataki smiled back, then said, "Hey, Impmon, d'you have anywhere to go? Like, a home or something?"
"Hmm... Now that'cha mention it, I don't think so." Impmon said, resting his head in one of his hands and he looked up at the ceiling in thought. Kataki blinked then smiled again. "Hey, would you like to stay with me for a while?"
"Now why would I wanna do that?!"
"Er well, if you stay, you can have as much food as you want!" Kataki said, smiling happily with her eyes closed. "And you can stay in my room. I'll even make a bed for you!"
Impmon placed a hand to his chin as he thought about the situation. Could he really stay with this girl? Somethin' 'bout her... makes me want to-- Pfft, I need some air. The small digimon grunted as he hopped off of Kataki's shoulders and ran over to a window and jumped up onto the sill. The cool night air blew through his dark fur, ruffling his scarf in the breeze. Impmon turned his head to look at her.
"I'll think 'bout it." He muttered, narrowing his green eyes ever so slightly. The digimon then jumped out into the night.
