"Yoush!"* Hiroshi exclaimed. He walked into the Dark Gate area with the others walking behind him. They passed the RookChessmon and BishopChessmon that guarded the gate. Soon, they reached Thriller Ruins. As soon as they arrived, Gaomon picked up a scent. Hiroshi saw Gaomon sniff the air and then dart off through a door.
"Gaomon!!" Hiroshi screamed. He took off after his Digimon with the others following him.
(* Yoush is a Japanese slang word for "ok" or "let's go")

"Be ready guys. When we get there we don't know what to expect.",Gabriel said to his two partners as they went through the gate.
When he came through the dark gate with his partners the first thing he saw was Hiroshi yelling and running after his partner Gaomon. He quickly followed in pursuit.

"Gaomon!" Hiroshi yelled as he ran around each corner. He suddenly stopped, causing his new friend to run right into the back of him, knocking them both down. "Oh," Hiroshi muttered as he helped them both up. "Sorry about that... Look," he said as he pointed to what looked like a portal with jagged edges and an odd colour. "Some Digimon took Gaomon through it."
"Are we going through, too?" Tapirmon said from the digivice.
Hiroshi smiled. "Of course."

"Thanks.",Gabriel said as he was hoisted up.
Tyrannamon stood over them looking surprised with Lopmon on his head with the same look to her face.
Gabriel stood straight up as he heard the bad news. He slowly walked over to the dark pointed portal with his partners close behind. He curiously poked at the points with his index finger.
"Well its solid and it is a portal. Lets go then.",Gabriel said as he pulled out his digivice and sent another message.
He then turned and indicated for his parnters to follow as he ran into the portal and disappeared.

Hiroshi and the others appeared in a weird place that looked like the inside of a computer. The pathways were made of platforms and bridges and had many different pathways for one to walk on. As a precaution, Hiroshi called out both Tapirmon and Patamon from the digivice.
"Patamon," Hiroshi said, "keep above us to get a better view of the area. Tapirmon, try to sense Gaomon and if possible send him a message telepathically." Patamon nodded and flew up above the tamers. Tapirmon closed his eyes as he followed them and started mumbling, activating his sensing ability.

"Gabie Gabie! Its the dark place!",exclaimed Lopmon.
Gabriel was standing beside Tyrannamon when they came through. Both were staring at the dark computer like area ahead of them. This is wasn't good, last time they barely managed to escape it with out being killed. Suddenly Gabriel's mood changed from cheerful to serious.
"Okay. This is going to have to be a quick search and rescue trip.",Gabriel said in a now deeper tone and what sounded like a leader.
Lopmon jumped down off of Tyrannamon's head and stood on the ground beside Gabriel.
"I'm ready now Gabriel.",Lopmon said looking up at him.
"Ok then. LOPMON DIGIVOLVE!",Gabriel commanded.
Then in the instant the purple glow appeared and disappeared it showed that the little brown and pink rabbit had changed into a large brown furry beast with long arms.
"Wendigomon...",sighed the once Lopmon as it finished completing its transformation.

Hiroshi followed suit and had his Digimon evolve as well, not wanting to spend any more time than necessary in the area.
"DigiSoul Charge!" Hiroshi yelled as his DigiSoul appeared in his fist and came slamming down on his digivice.
"Patamon, shinka!" the flying mammal evolved into a tall angel. "Angemon!"
Hiroshi looked over at Tapirmon. "Have you found him?"
Tapirmon responded, "I can't see him yet, but I know where he is."
Hiroshi gulped and asked, "You know what you're going to have to do..." Tapirmon nodded. "Can you handle it this time?"
Tapirmon sighed. "I have to. I won't let Gaomon be hurt."
The black Crest of Illusions that hung around Hiroshi's neck started to glow, as did his fist. "DigiSoul ... Full Charge!"
"Tapirmon, shinka!" the ghost yelled. He first changed into a blue wizard type Digimon named Sorcerymon. From there, he advanced into a small floating Digimon with a cape and scythe. "Phantomon!"
"Lead the way," Hiroshi said to his newly evolved Digimon.

"Wait, Wendigomon is a teleportation digimon. If you know where he is she can take us there.",Gabriel said not wanting to take to much time in this dark area.
Wendigomon nodded.
"Lets move before they leave us behind you two.",Tyrannamon said to Gabriel and Lopmon as the Hiroshi and his partners started off into the distance.

"So am I," Phantomon said.
"Phantomon!" Hiroshi hissed.
"What?" the Digimon mumbled.
Hiroshi scoffed. "Rude, much?" The Digimon mumbled a 'sorry.' "Well, if Phantomon only has a vague idea of where Gaomon is, he alone wouldn't be able to take us there. But maybe if he and Wendigomon channel each other, they might be able to that way."
"It's worth a try," Phantomon said. "Let me lock onto Gao's location."

"It would be nice if I knew where he was too, or the general idea of the location.",Wendigomon said sarcasticly.
"Lopmon, you could have said that nicer too.",Gabriel said.
"Well lets work together, but hurry.",Wendigomon said as she pointed to a couple of dark looking digimon coming their way.
Tyrannamon was now ahead of the group and was ready for the oncoming assault.
"I'm ready when you are Gabriel.",Tyrannamon said as his human partner noticed the digimon coming.

"Now, Phantomon!" Hiroshi yelled.
Phantomon sent a message towards Wendigomon, letting her know where their destined location was. In a flash of green light, both tamers and their Digimon vanished from sight, leaving the oncoming Digimon confused. They reappeared back in the Thriller Ruins, and Hiroshi was glad that they were no longer in the dark area. They were on a flat platform-like surface with an exit portal in sight. Hiroshi frantically looked around.
"Where is he, Phantomon?" he asked worriedly.
There was a brief silence followed by Angemon pointing and yelling, "There!" They all looked to see Gaomon being held in the arm of a large Myotismon. There was a Mummymon on his right side and a Black WereGarurumon on his left.

"Ok team. Pursuit.",Gabriel yelled orders to his partners.
Tyrannamon took off in a large stomping run as he pursued the enemy.
Wendigomon turned and picked up Gabriel in one of her large and long arms. Then in a large swooping motion she began to make large long strides of jumps through the air only just getting caught up to Phantomon close behind.
"These are two ultimate digimon with one mega. If we are going to do this we are going to have to do this as hard and as quick as we can.",Gabriel shouted to Hiroshi through the air rushing in his face from Wendigomons speed.

Phantomon sent a silent message towards Hiroshi. "What does he mean, 'mega'?"
"Ignore it," Hiroshi thought back. "It doesn't matter right now."
Phantomon nodded. "Soul Chopper!" Phantomon announced as he swung his scythe around to slash the bandages on Mummymon's body.
"Celestial Knuckle!" Angemon exclaimed as he landed a powerful punch on the WereGarurumon.

"My bad, no mega here.",Gabriel said as he jumped into the air from Wendigomon's arms that were stretching out for her attack.
"Cabel Crusher!",Wendigomon yelled as her arms stretched out quickly and bashed Myotismon into the back and head first into the ground.
"Tyrannamon! Go help out Angemon with WereGarurumon.",Gabriel yelled as he moved into position to control the battle.

"Diabolical Star!" Phantomon screamed as he shot out a black star-like attack towards Mummymon. The attack hit dead-center and sent Mummymon flying back towards the wall. Phantomon teleported his scythe in the right spot, and Mummymon landed right on the blade, causing him to disintegrate into thousands of orbs of data, which Phantomon gladly absorbed.
