The next morning Michelle woke up. It took her awhile to realize where she was. But she caught her grounds and woke up mentally too. She stood up and left the pokecenter. Once outside she let out Spike and Eevee to walk along side her.
While walking around town she didn't see any sign of Nyra or her pokemon. But she thought it too early for her to be there yet. So she continued to explore the town. She first went over to the pokemart where she bought five more pokeballs and two potions.
After she left the Mart she had the sudden urge to battle and catch new pokemon. So she thought why not go train and capture a new partner at the entrance of the of this place. That way I'll be sure to see Nyra when she comes, if she comes, and I can train my team.
Michelle quickly ran over to the tallest grass she could find at the entrance of the town and began to hunt for challengers. They were all spread out across this small field hunting for a battle. Spike on one side, Eevee on another, and Michelle close inbetween the two.
After awhile she couldn't find anything. Then suddenly a Lombre jumped out at her. She screamed out for her pokemon. That mad the Lombre scared and aggressive so he bagan to tackle Michelle. Her pokemon were still not there then she remembered she still had Riley.
She pushed herself back away from the pokemon across the ground. She then threw up the pokeball and out came Riley in a red flash. Riley quickly figured out what was going on and tackled the Lombre back from Michelle. Michelle then got back onto her feet while Spike and Eevee popped up behind her. They started to jump in behind Riley but Michelle stopped them.
"Ok Riley lets take 'em out. Use Razor Leaf!" Michelle commanded.
Riley jumped up and whipped the leafs on top of his head around sending out razorsharp leafs which struck the Lombre with super effectivness. You could tell because it looked like the Lombre was half defeated. The Lombre wasted no time though and retaleated with a tackle sending the oddish in the air backwards.
Riley quickly jumped back up and ran back infront of Michelle.
"Ok now use Tackle!" Michelle commanded.
The little oddish ran at the Lombre then jumped into the air and used Razor Leaf. It struck the Lombre to the point of fainting. It then ran off through the tall grass with what energy it had left.
Michelle was disappointed that Riley disobeyed her. Yet it worked out and Riley seemed happy. Riley was jumping up and down and he looked like he had a glow to himself. Then he was glowing. He was growing too. His glowing body was changing forms and he was evolving. Michelle was surprised at first and jumped back but when she realized what was happening she leaned in with curious eyes.
The glowing stopped and as Michelle's eyes adjusted She began to see that the blue pokemon had turned purple and its leafs were larger along with some brown coconut looking things hanging underneath the leaves, he also had arms now.
"Gla gloom." Riley said sluggishly.
Michelle ran up to Riley and hugged him.
"Cool Riley your a Gloom now!" She said hugging him in a death grip.
Suddenly some smell came under her nose. It was horrible and it was coming from Riley. Michelle backed up from Riley holding her nose.
"Wow thats some smell. Riley can you not control that?" Michelle asked sounding like a clown because she was holding her nose.
Riley shook his head no and this seemed to spread the smell.
"Well not to be mean but your going to have to stay in your pokeball while traveling." She said sadly.
She pulled his pokeball from her belt and returned him giving a big breath of air afterwards.
